We have some great threads on here with the likes of toes on the nose, surf cars etc....

This is one I know will get me motivated for some new boards....

I just saw this and thought of Mac... It's a nice sled

How about some details Chrispy?

Names aren't necessary, but dimensions would be good for this old dog.

Thanks.

I did say no names but thanks.

I guess I am a bit like old mate. Though I am not planning on dying anytime soon.

I want something that lasts but has ease of paddle and glide for when my shoulder heals. I have a few months to go still but this thing looks the goods to me.

Though with all that glass it might be too heavy to carry.

Et I would really keep.away from big heavy boards then. They take way more effort to get moving and just paddling in general is more effort.

But once that board is moving that's when all the benefits start paying off.

Even carrying the beasts sick arse

Mac the only reason why you still have the boards is because you have run out of art work ideas

Wow those channels go a long way up ! How does it ride?

That board of Tux's is unreal in the flesh. I tried to take some pics but they just not do it justice. Its actually pretty narrow.

heavy boards are the best. A few strokes to kick start the movement but after that they motor along. All glide.... An awesome feeling! If you are after a HP longboard (like what most in here favour it seems) then heavy sucks - but for those who love logging and not HP longboarding (me) then on a log heavy is the only way IMHO. [;)

McHenry, there's a very similar shape with a wooden nose and tail block in the local right now secondhand. Great condition, great price. I would love it but at 8'6" it doesn't really fit into any hole in the quiver other than sheer beauty. So I will just stare and drool over its lines everytime I buy a block of wax.

It is a lovely outline in my opinion.

So the board I was talking about is gone, but I snapped a few pics of boards from Oggie's archives. None are for sale, and the pics don't really do them justice with the fluoro lights and dodgy camera angle, but hopefully you can appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship in some of these.
