Soul less and Boring.
My missus has a hatch. Good runarounds, very practical, Reliable as, good on petrol, pretty comfortable and drives fine.
They were Car of the year a few times but they are just boring as bat ****.
Disc. She bought it before we were together. I would have never bought one but it is actually a pretty good little car.
Those while walls look like they may be a bit over inflated

Thanks fellas for your comments, or maybe one of these little ones
All new cars just seem boring and soul less.
For work we use Landcruisers, but they are just a work tool. I used to have a love / hate relationship with my 1982 troop carrier, but at least it had a personality.
The new baby Fiat looks interesting, despite being described by Sniff Petrol as "The Fat Ugly Sister" to the original Bambino.
Maybe a new generation Beetle?
No idea really
Do they still make these?

OK, it's a crappy Neon (?) or something with a retro body, but I reckon you could make it look cool.
And feel better about yourself riding in it.

A place I worked at had them as work cars and they were pretty terrible. Lots of plastic, expensive to maintain and fix, especially if you smash them. They drove ok though.
Wax on .......... Wax off ......... Wax on ......
Would that be with Mrs Palmers

Yeah I don't know much about it but apparently it was a 60s thing that just got annoyingly worse over time

Yeah SB,I'm leaning towards the petrol model, look ok to me and seem well plated
While I love rat rods - in the orignal essence, these ones annoy me.
Given the board and cooler would appear bolted on (by the lack of straps), I would pretty much guarantee the patina on this car is from poor use of a grinder
