Morning Al, do you happen to know where this shot was taken? Does any one else?

Thanks
ET.

Found it for you ET.
Woolamai Beach Phillip Island.

You'll have to make do with the Kombi for a surf car.
Car park and cliff tops significantly different shape from when the original photo was taken 50 odd years ago.
I couldn't get the same angle, and wind was so wild I was getting sand blasted the whole time.

The building and tower must be earlier versions of the lifesaving club.
The original was either taken about 100m behind where I am standing, or the old building may have been near the sign near the Kombi.

Wild day down here.

My old man blew the gearbox in his Valiant st wgn in about '81. He parked it out on the front lawn & let us kids play in it. Engine was still fine so for a few days we could start it up, rev the engine & pretend we were driving. Once the the petrol was all gone, he stripped it & sold it for parts before getting rid of the shell...was great fun while it lasted

Well Pup and V,the wagons got the "mock" chromies on,just waiting on the spats to get here
Only temporary though while I refurb the mags

I wouldn't rush to refurb the Tasman's mate, really like this look!!

Throw some hubcaps on and lets see how it looks with em too. Looking forward to the spats.

if anyone is interested I have one of Josh's MCT shaped boards for sale. still has sponsors stickers. 9'1", lightweight deck, I used to surf it all the time.
no good for nose riding (well by me anyway) turns on a dime.
Gorgeous board.
