Thanks for all yr help fellas. I have purchased it. Will pick it up when I get back from Bali - so for now I do not have to hide it anywhere!!!

I no longer have to feel like an impostor in the longboarding forum.

Hope you get back in the water soon SMH - injuries suck.

Hang on? I'm confused, everyone told me that all of Macs surfing was done vicariously through others

Are you trying to say that he can actually stand up on a board

cheers fellas. I am way stoked!! Sad thing is tom would probably be a perfect day to introduce myself to the new green machine.......tonight it was a solid 2 ft with a few bigger ones. A light offshore and warm water. I actually ditched the steamer for the first time - what a joy to paddle without the wettie on - oh how I have missed it. The 5'10" was loving life out there. Goodness knows what she will say when the new roomie arrives!!!! I hope she does not get one of those size thing issues........I was always told that whoever said that size doesn't matter has clearly never had a big one before...........well I am about to find out if that is true!

geez Ted I dont know. The surfing is great. I'm not too sure about the beatnik arty culture though with the party. Parties should be all about excessive drinking, dirty women, public nudity, cones and party tricks played on non handlers that crash out early like eyebrow shaving , poo mustaches and photos taken in compromising positions with the family pet. These guys dont know what they're missing.

Look SMH I prefer your type of parties........but maybe the arty culture thing is just foreplay for the ladies.......allows them to access a different mix of ladies without the ladies really being aware that they are being hunted and trapped. Maybe the after party had lots of yr favourite things going on afterwards........just surrounded by pictures? Maybe these parties are held early in the week like on a Tuesday which brings the ladies out a few days earlier than normal. I think that they may be on to something here - expanding their reach and earning some cashola in the meantime. If they can pull it off that is.

Maybe we should get Pete to confirm or deny that these events have brought the lads some success?
