Go question, your EVO 2 will love the hp wave.

I was thinking the same a couple of week ago and was going to off load the 9.6 FB until I took it for a run in less than ideal conditions one foot super sucky, the redline and UFO would have struggled in 6 inches of water under feet.

My UFO needs some punch to get it going and the redline is a bit sluggish at tight bottom turns.

Do you consider the Evo 2 9'6'' to be a HP ?

I'll have my new Evo 2 next week. I got it as an in between board between a really thinned out 9 footer and a big chunky 10 foot cruiser.
Its got a fair bit of rocker so it should turn pretty good I hope but I will only be able to look at it for a while until I'm right enough to go surfing again.
I will send some pics of it though.

Asea I've gone 9'4 X 23 X 3 which I think is pretty standard dimensions for a board around that size. My thinned oud out 9 footer doesnt really nose ride too good. You have to run up quick and sort of get back pretty quick as well and on the 10 footer its a long way up and back so I got this board as more of an allrounder.
I'm getting a lilac tint with a white pigment nose dip. I spoke to Dave at McTavish and he told me the board is finished and looks pretty good. I should have it next week sometime and I will put up some pics for sure.
