Playing 9 holes late this afternoon with a punk who wants to marry my daughter. I think the stage is set to ask permission

Well it has already started badly by playing half around

Let me know where and when and I will bring the crew and play in the group behind. We will test his temperament

Great 9 holes in the late afternoon,I managed 3 pars which I was stoked,a 5 on a par 3 after my tee shot landed in the water, happy with a 5, a couple of 7's on par 4's and par 5's.

Oh yeah the fella asked the question at the 19th hole.

Congrats. I hoped you made him sweat it out initially. I like the old fashioned / respectful approach.

Well I've just payed for a years membership, will wait and see if the back can handle it.
It's been two years since I've picked up a club, I received my old handicap and noticed I only played 7 games in 2014 so it's going to get ugly tomorrow

Loved it Mac, my best golf was 25 years ago, I know I'll never play like that again, but i did have six pars in a row
the rest was very sad one into the water one over the fence and one into a place only elephants go to die

Hey if you eliminate yardage out of the game that one less thing to worry about

If I could accurately hit the desired distance each shot.... well then this yardage conversation would be different
