You guys are seriously missing the point here.

Forget any talk of new boards or types of boards or room for more in Macs quiver or indeed in his house.

The important thing here is the realization that Mac does not have weeds in his lawn.

Haven't looked here for about 5 days and you've gone from a collector to motivated seller????

New ones must be nice.. What you getting?

I can only imagine how flooded the 2nd hand market up there now...

I only used collector because Lacey and Asea were sniffing around for one of them,I wanted to put them off

Well you know all seems good then you get a new one that does the job better than one you already have, the next
one will take care of two current boards so cull or collect

As if you are going to put those two off they know you too well

Look forward to seeing the new one.
I reckon if your getting rid of two and replacing it with 1 then that's a good thing. One less decision to make when packing the car.

But I do really like the sunset tint.

There is only one real Evo. This one. Still yet to see the water - still sparkly new except for the small rail ding it got on the plane - but it will get a lot of use over the next month rest assured.

My other newbe - from Tux - definitely came off second best. It's like they dropped the bag onto its rails from 10 foot up. Not happy.

Ahhhh. I cant help it.
Which board is doing a better job then the 207 as you just stated on the weekend on your second surf how much the evo 207 was a cracker.

Is there some new model or are you getting- a 9.3 beau young seaplane

Ps the only board I was remotely interested in was the frying egg which you said wasnt going anywhere. M8ved on and got the by 10 fter

prediction. If the evo 2s are going expect a brand new one in the new year as soon as the factory reopens

Thanks Pup - I had it fixed immediately. I sat at the bar and talked rubbish with the boys while Sion fixed it for me across the street. I have left Tux's board in shocking condition as it has one more plane flight to go........

LL - Nano got smashed to smithereens. It's been fixed but it's definitely heavier. Not have a lot of confidence it will last so it becomes a back up board stashed in Bali.

Picked up the Evo for a steal - it's a 5'11. Wanted a 5'9 or 5'10 but decided to give this one a crack anyway after buying it off a Norwegian back packer who won it and was leaving Manly in 4 days time. I don't think I will have any trouble moving it if it has too much volume. I paid $250 less than the retail price so I figure that gives me a few surfs to see if I like it. I wanted one of these when they first came out - but no FST so went the Nano instead. Seems like this production technique is holding up ok - but we shall see. It certainly survived a whole load better than The other board and both packed the same.

I feel your pain Ted. You'll recall that lovely looking McNeill 7'2" that McHenry helped pick up, wrap up and drop off for me from the midlength thread?
Ego couriers managed to put a nice big depression right on the rail, despite the phenomenal packing job done by Dave.
I fixed it and put a sticker over the repair to put it out of my mind. Surfs pretty good for a big beastie too. Especially once I ran it with a twin and trailer ala npj jr quartet fins.

I

'd

like to know how the evo goes for you. Still have my nano in one piece luckily.
