I dunno about you guys but I am practising my dry cough for out in the line up.
Willing to loudly engage with anyone nearby in conversation too.
Drop a "I've just come back from a business trip around China and I don't know what all the fuss is about? Cough, cough, splutter, splutter!

I almost don't want to voice this question out loud...but here goes...wonder what kind of backlash Covid-19's source being Chinese will have against consumers purchases of Chinese made products in the future?
I'm hoping there will be a massive growth in home grown manufacturing here in Australia once we can all get back to work.
Instagram pop up ads show the Surfboard warehouse are having a 40% off sale.
Their supply chain must now be in tatters and continued supply must be delayed by who knows how long.
Wouldn't be suprised if they unload all the stock they can before pulling the pin on the whole thing.

Very good point,I've been dealing with a lot of trades and suppliers and I'm hearing people are not ordering the Chinese products (home reno) even though they are cheaper as back lash.
SBW 40% off my guess is they are still making 20% or more on current stock but with the AU so weak the freight is a killer for importers. The Australian manufactures in general will be celebrating and its about time.Nothing against SBW times are a changing.

Well said. You forgot that the Chinese will drop their prices to below manufacture costs to stimulate supply and entice purchasing.
This is one of their growth strategies, to buy the market and then raise the prices.
And in the process attract other brands to manufacture in China which then brings a technology influx to their manufacturing.
Allowing them to now produce very high quality product at extremely low cost.

I cant help but think the toilet paper saga shows the mentality of the average Aussie, so when this is over those non thinkers will just buy on price once again..SWH will rise from the ashes..
And China will continue to buy up Australia..FMD why sell property/harbours etc to China or any overseas country..what's wrong with a 5 x 5 lease...

This as well.

Just in case you wondered why you can't find hand sanitizer (amongst other things) the government is telling you to use for your safety.

Not sure where to post this, but this thread seems to have got a bit heavy lately.
Daughter's boyfriend's Christenson Dead Sled.
I think it is imported.
9'8" x 23 1/4" x 3 1/16".
I'll pretend I know what that means but it looks nice.

and it fits in the Kombi.
