but why a flu jab? Is the government asking for it?

Please don't tell me the NRL have just decided this. FMD

I think it could be more to do with the flu having the same symptoms as the stupid virus.

So by trying to eliminate players having the flu,or showing symptoms of the flu would then stop them going into a shutdown with mass testing

I ve had them. Sometimes i get the flu sometimes i don't.
I think it bureaucracy red tape gone mad in this case. Its far from a certain safety measure imo. help some others none at all...
Seems like private medical details are out the window for footy players

Lacey NRL need to stop making changes, leave the game alone, like the penalties on the line then in the bin rule.;

Cartwright is free to train and play due to an approval by the NRL and QLD health documents which support he suffered a medical condition from previous jabs.

Now as much as I enjoy my footy, to be honest I'm not missing it at the moment ,anybody else feel this way?

I've had the Flu jab every year for about 20+ years, never felt crook after and only once got a bug.
The jab covers only a few strains of flu and there are other strains that you can pick up..

A couple of key positions require a cool experienced head, one of which is hooker. Hopefully a repeat and one better from 2012 when Buderus returned to the club.
