HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!! Arrived home from the Goldie this arvo, washed the car, unpacked and sussed the waves for tomorrow then slept to 5 to 12. Had a great time up the Goldie enjoyed some fun waves at my old haunts. Thanks for the swell. New Years resolutions, enjoy life a bit more. Looking forward to starting of with a nice wave at the local with mates and a flat white in the Bay. (Nelson Bay) Cheers to all, back to watching Mars Attacks on Fox lol. To exciting hah!

Been so quiet in the forum i reckon everyone ('cept our injured Chrispy) has made a NY resolution not to do any more posts.

At least Mac has stuck to his resolutions, he came in yesterday and ordered 17 new boards when i said there is a free coffee with each one.

Sepirott, glad you got waves up here after a sketchy start.

Don't suppose one of those boards is a sup should be five coffees for a sup

Gee fish are bitting good today , three of us jumped in my old camper van this morning & went up the coast were it was off shore .

The guy in the frist shot is Mark he ran Blitz surf shop here in town for about 18 yrs , you must have to be a Mark to run a surf shop lol. The three of us have surfed alone since Christmas three days at the island one day at Big River & today @ Tolaga Bay river mouth , we still find empty waves with an extra 50000 in town

Stop bragging TB. My young bloke tells me there's no parking anywhere near the beaches around here because of all the tourists. I noticed your mate has a McCoy tuff lite. I got a mate with one of those and he says it paddles nearly as good a a 9 footer.its a shame you guys are still in steamers though.

smh you have a keen eye it's 7'11" he has had it for about 4 years and loves it .Yes it's been a bit cold but can deal with that . We havn't had the swell you guys have had . Never have a problem getting a car park if we have a road to drive on to get to some of these places it's a bonus .[}:)]

Mac I thought there was a Fanatic SUP Board on your Christmas List?!

I pretty much only SUP Surf at the protected points. The days I know it's gunna be packed, but when I'm on a really long SUP I can skim along at places like Point Roadknight when the waves is literally not breaking. I've said this before, I feel like The Duke on one of his big 12-15 footers. Plus, with a quick shuffle forward and a few paddle strokes, you can keep skimming over the flat sections, when a Malibu would always fall off the back.

Having said that, Winki was smoking today. Really hot day down here, like 40. Still 38 plus. I skulled some powder mix Powerade before hitting the water, and I smashed it to pieces. Timing was bang on, powering off the bottom and top, riding one of my old favorites, the Red Brewer 9'6.

hey simondo and mac, i'm thinking of letting the 14'er go. the unexpected arrival of the sic bullet has made it just about impossible to get off it after 5 dw ers in 6 days.
it's a tricky board first up, not really for a novice, the ride - magic

you made some noises simondo- a pure dw belter and mac its got the size to keep you happy in the canal for fitness.

would sell pretty cheap

cheers
