Ted two weeks in the country and it had a WOF , I think he's OK with the LH drive cause it's past a certain year (not sure what the cut off is ) . You can bring in LH Drive and use them but you can't sell unless you change ( have another friend that brought over an 80's Chev).
Drip it has a 289.(I thought it my have been a 221 or 260 )
AI G last year I did a trip across the states with America by rail you wouldn't believe the gear I saw in the two bit towns and in the country , Enjoyed it so much we go again in another month except this time go back across Canada

Don't mean to be a party pooper TB,but that's a 40 Buick coupe. You're right though Holden designers back then were very much influenced by American cars, hence the similar shapes

She's a HK 186 six cylinder, original engine since new back in 1968,been recoed some years ago though. If it gives it up one day I'd like to put a 308 in her.
There's still plenty of HD/R's over here but that one's a Premier wagon so there's not many of those left. There's a few old holdens in NZ,I talk to a few blokes over there!...

Did some one say HOG!

Im waiting to find the right EK or similar but the minister for finances doesnt think its such a great idea, and i certainly aint selling this to get it. Just need to get a decent rack system (For a board) that i can run with legally in WA.

Love HR's and HK's, EH's,.. well... any OLD car basically, Started looking for a Kombi to do up with the young bloke so he had some thing that wasnt going to kill him when he gets his license but gave up on that given the drug money people are chasing for crap, so will probably get a Type 3 VW Station wagon for him now. Good on the surf tracks! and 6 year project LOL.

When i win lotto.... Ford Woody :)

Awesome Cobra, thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the crap out of those.
not sure about a side unit though LOL, heaps of room to chuck your gear though!
id love to have racks for the springer, but I wear the foot boards down as it is. I'll try and find an old r80 cheap and set that up I reckon, although people are snapping them up quick smart also, like bloody Kombi's!
