Yep far too many people sit back & say nothing or wankily take a video...I often say **** to people in the surf when wrong is going on, elsewhere should be no different...I mean unless there is like a gang of people, understandable, but a couple of drunk biatches, no excuse...

I hear ya Mick but sadly these days it seems it's all a bit hard with the possible consequences by all reports. Personally I would like to think that I would do the right thing but guns and knifes scare the hell out of me. Two chicks on a bus - no real excuses there. As soon as that bloke did come up to them the bus stopped and they' were pushed off, should have happened much sooner. Hard to judge though when you are not there.

agree, its the generation from the 'you can't smack or disciple little johnny anymore, he has adult rights era'

problem is you have to earn those rights.

and i'm not talking about abusing kids before some body starts up.

the fact is they have been let down by society allowing it to happen

the do gooders have a lot to answer for.amazingly, stupidly, unfortunately we are still listening to them

So Legion is right then? I tend to think so but still not so sure on the bullying mentality - not that he was advocating it but more as a general thing I am not a fan of it.

Yep its fricken BS these days, ya got clueless tryhards on 666'ers who think they rip coz they have some training wheels on...had to step in for Pup's stunt double today coz some deek on a 666 mounted with a fricken hero camera started going off at Pup's stunt double after the fark dropped in on him & figured the bloke should slow down & let him drop in more comfortably or some shiz, was going off & I thought I was gonna be in some biffo. I've notived this lately just over the last couple of years in the small day 666'er crowd, there's just no judgement of when its cool to share, justc omes down to inexperience.

From my end, being a kid in comparison to you lot, even I agree with what is being said.

Most kids think they can do what they want, take everything from their parents, and give nothing back.

Too many ratty kids around who are so pathetic, no work ethic, no respect for anyone, no motivation to do anything an yet they expect everyone to bow down to them.

I think they should get what incoming to them, as mentioned '6 of the best'.

I am not one for violence or any sort of conflict, BUT, there was one kid in school, so rude and arrogant, and absolutely no respect for females and even less for teachers, one of my mates, an state footballer an great athlete with a heck of a cricket arm, pelted a tennis ball and hit this kid fair in the throat. Although it woul have hurt so bad, nearly the whole class laughed. Not exactly funny but he got what he had coming.

My point is that these kids with such off morals and underpinning values, they will get their serve. They may end up as doll bludgers for the rest of their lives, always in debt, struggling through life and never on top of things. Obviously some kids can't help it because of parenting or whatever which is incredibly unfortunate.

Just my perspective of this topic and how it seems to me as I have come from a great family.

Hopefully I am not one of these kids with no respect, only ever bag you old farts out for a bit of fun, never mean anything by it, no offense ever meant

Surfed twice today and the first session ended when a beginner surfer dropped in on another. (who had also dropped in on a few people as well) One guy put another on to the reef and did damage to his board. So words were screamed and curdling and the dropper-in went straight in. (It was super shallow, even more so than usual). A bit later i saw him in the carpark and gave him a polite reminder of the rules and he was very grateful, and honestly felt like crap and was talking about flicking some coin to the other bloke. It really was a genuine accident..But still lesson learnt.

Second surf a grumpy local decided to give a 14 year old a spray for paddling for a wave at the same time. He really went right off and was soon told it wasn't appropriate. So he went in and so did the young guys old man. I spoke to the young guy and maybe explained he needed to curb his enthusiasm a little. (that was his only crime) But seriously it was half a foot off crap. Turned the entire scene on its head, and we all just gave up and called it a day. Their is no place for that crap IMHO..

Still not worthy of a punch in head, but it was close..

Fair call - but I did ask before the game Not my fault you Queenslanders are behind the times. At least you have the Origin and nice warm sunny weather year round and your curtains will not fade - lets not forget that vital piece of info.

You guys are so funny... you've all turned into your parents and grandparents.

When I was a kid (70's & 80's) parents and so on complained about us. And now we are repeating the same thing for the new generation.

And for the record, I agree that the current generation is the most privileged ever. They have everything handed to them on a plate and can't cope if something goes wrong.

See I've turned into my father...
