I hate to say it but looks like a sup weekend as the swell is a massive 0.5 foot
Lets hope something blows in overnight. That's it from the GC hope its better your way.
at least there is white water up our end of the goldy, looks like its time to let the old body recoup for next week and start watching some longboarding dvd's.
Get a sup asea, good fun for conditions like we have atm even when there is no surf imagine paddling up and down the coast line
If the forecast is correct we may have a little bump tomorrow afternoon and Sunday saying more swell, sorry your working haha, thanks for dropping in today and as always talking sh-t
yeh mac plenty of sh-t to talk about, plenty more next between you and i ,i don't think you'll ever run out of sh-t,looking good hopefully Sun or even better Mon less crouds.Hopefully i go to Lm and ride some decent longer rides than i normally would ride.As far as the sup goes it looks like too much hard work,i'd rather have a few rums and a little sleep in ,in these flat conditions.
I was mate keen or more like super desperate to get wet today so I dialled up the web cams,it looked unsurfable but the reports said building swell during the day so off I went.To my horror the wind was up and I took a look from the Greeny headland and it looked just too small until I saw a ridable wave come. So I kitted up just boardies and 2mm jacket, got to love winter and walked down the hill, walked out the back and within five minutes I decided to come in and walk down to Snaps. One young Japanese quicky team rider and I.Must be a wave if this young kids out I was thinking?about 15 minutes later the swell cleaned up and jacked up enough to make it a fun session. We traded waves until this kid realized that I was bigger and better than him. Well bigger anyway
The Razar went well so its a keeper and the ufo will have to wait until I start getting bored with it!
I might up grade the Fireball to a 9.6 so I can take out asea in the LM comp, nothing like sending a mate home early sorry asea couldn't help myself
Anyway enough of my dribble for today whats happening in your neck of the woods?
Walked the dog along the beach this morning and thought a huge flock of giant ibis has taken over the alley and laceys - but as I got closer realized it was 20 sups scavenging for 1ft waves. Definate similarity though.
Nice clean little waves up around surfers at midday and not a breath of wind.
3 weeks till AZZA
Went shopping this arvo for a wall hanginging for the water feature and came home home with agreement that we are renovating the house and adding rooms ....... something must have happened when I was looking and admiring the IBIS
mac if you are serious about 9'6'' FB contact myself as i am on a mission, hopefully get some waves as of monday.
AH - I remember long ago, another starry night like this (free beer to anyone who gets it) but only if you sing it
BB will be down coffs way in a coupla weeks - abbasolutely hanging out - whos coming to play ?
And JW - very witty - I got it
Nice little wave at cooly maccas, two hours of fun, First decent wave comes and this tosser drops in and I flick off, second one comes and a bigger tosser drops in.I didnt get fired up I just gave the stink eye and they never did it again, two foot clean and not a huge crowd,I was hoping to see BB out so I could drop in on him for being an ABBA fan
Thats it this week back to work tomorrow hope you guys down south got some because asea was working and BB was polishing his ABBA collection [}:)]
mac you should of come for a surf, swell is picking up some nice long nose rides mixed up with a nice wall to work with back 2 moro do you want me to pick you up? early surf mac don't tell me you feel the cold mac ,you'd have as much cushioning as me keeping in mind your MUCH younger i don't want to show you up mac.so you'd better show what your made of.ha ha
Told ya it would be good asea,I am putting the word out that each time you surf there for ALL the boys to snake you, drop in on every wave
Greenmount, Lil Marley, and Cooly will all be fantastic 2moro and I strongly advise every surfer and sup'er to get down there early and make the most of what will be possibly the best conditions in years [}:)]
