Definitely check out the Scorpion. I have a 6.4" Tuflite with the quad set up. Goes well in head to double head high waves with excellent paddle power, (carrying 85KG's). I think it would still surf well in clean, bigger waves. They don't like any chop.

I'm 90 odd kgs, so I was thinking about a 6'8". I sink like a lead weight on anything smaller.

Asea, I rode a scorpion around 6 months ago ( But it was a glass board not a tufflite )
it was 7 x 22 x 2+1/2. Held me up OK but 2+3/4 would have been better.
Fun board to ride, light and easy to throw around, but you really have to draw out your turns because it has such a big pin tail.
