Cobra did you see this

Mitchell Johnson suffered at the hands of the NZ top order, conceding 50 runs from his first 22 balls and it could be argued he was the difference between the two sides.

no i didn't Ted,thanks for that.

NOW Ted, did you see this

Australia have steamrolled their way to the biggest win in Cricket World Cup history with a victory over Associate nation Afghanistan in their Pool A encounter at the WACA Ground in Perth.Chasing Australia’s gargantuan 6-417 – the highest total in World Cup history – the Afghans were never in the hunt, bowled out for 142 in the 38th over to complete a 275-run defeat.

Ted did you see how Mitchell Jonson went.

i guess you have to claim that win over such an established team from a minnow nation as its all you have right now. You must be so proud Cobra personally I would be embarrassed trying to compare apples n oranges like that. Your mum could probably have taken a few wickets against them

TB,
I'm hoping the Internet is down in Indo atm.
We won't hear the end of it.
How good was that hit onto the roof ?
Good chance for an Anzac final.

It was a great innings TB.
One of the best if not the best.
NZ doubled their score from the 35 over mark.
That's something else.

Sorry fellas. Yesterday was Nyepi day here in Indo. A complete 24hrd of rest. You could not even leave the premises - no electricity, no lose etc. Also known as silient day.

Was a pretty interesting day ! Anyway I see the score and was pretty excited but after spending yest in doors reading books n watching movies all day I have clocked up 7 hrs in the water today. Stoked. My new local is a right hand reef about 1km off the beach. Home for the next month - making the most of the late wet season winds. 4ft plus his morning and 2-3ft this arvo. Happy as a pig in ****. And as for the cricket bring on those Saffas - imagine if BM had decided to get some runs as well

Just catching up on the news back home and there is some pretty big news that escaped my eyes. Stoked on this result. Well done DK. Growing up at Manu Bay would have given him the ideal preparation for the longboard event. Love to see some footage.

http://www.theultimatewaterman.com/daniel-kereopa-nzl-takes-inaugural-the-ultimate-waterman-crown/

New Zealand athlete Daniel Kereopa has been crowned the inaugural Ultimate Waterman today (Saturday 21st March) toppling seven international athletes to claim the title. The Kiwi went into the final day of The Ultimate Waterman driven by Subaru with a minimal points lead over Kai Lenny (HAW) and did enough in the final discipline, the 15km stand up paddleboard endurance race, to hold off the young Hawaiian and claim the title in his homeland. An emotional Kereopa stood on the stage in front of a packed out Mission Bay talking about his journey to this point in his life and what the title meant to him and the ocean sports that he pursues.“Up on stage I realised how many years I’ve put into surfing and paddling, all the hours of going out when it is real horrible, not spending time with my family and stuff and all the memories flooded back to me, I am thankful I remembered that on stage because without them I have nothing” commented Kereopa. He admitted that nerves were getting to him on the final day of the event but he knew that he had to stick close to Kai for any chance of winning the title.“I managed to keep Kai close at the start but Connor, Danny and George powered ahead and part of me was actually excited even though I couldn’t keep up as that helped my chances for the overall title,” says Kereopa.Kereopa’s Ultimate Waterman journey started with losses to Lenny in the waka ama and shortboard surfing. However his winning chances took a huge boost when he eclipsed Lenny in his double whammy discipline of stand up paddleboard surfing before going on to edge out Lenny on back-to-back days in his own double whammy discipline, the longboard.Today Lenny needed to place first or second and have Kereopa place fifth for a shot at the title but it wasn’t to be, the two surfers placing fourth and fifth respectively.“I knew it was going to be a challenge coming down to New Zealand but I was hoping I was going to rise to the top,” said Lenny of his loss today.“You know the fuel has been dropped in the fire now. Sometimes it is nice to get second because it is the worse place, sometimes it is better to come fourth because second is so close but so far away,” said Lenny.“You learn a lot when you lose so I will take this experience away and work on my skill set and look forward to next year,” added Lenny who could not speak highly enough of the week of waves he had scored along the length of the country.“Daniel has risen to the top, he is the ultimate waterman and to see his emotions winning in his home country in front of family and friends is probably a dream come true for him,” said Lenny.Hawaiian Connor Baxter claimed the stand up paddleboard endurance race today, the final discipline to be contested. He took a ten second win over Danny Ching (USA). It was Baxter’s double whammy discipline and by way of the win, he jumped from eighth to third in the event and claimed a podium finish after what he described as a ‘brutal’ endurance race. Please see below for overall points for the inaugural Ultimate Waterman driven by Subaru held in New Zealand 14th – 21st March 2015.

6.5 runs an over required. ABD and Miller certainly turned up by the look of it.

My mission this arvo is to find a bar that has it on and watch it. This will be the first game of this world cup that I actually watch. Although the wind is still light so as the tide runs out I may opt for a surf instead

Yeah just been looking at that - what a bloody stupid equation still !

South Africa posted 5/281 off 43 overs. New Zealand’s revise chase, due to the Duckworth-Lewis method, is 298 off 43 overs, at a run rate of 6.93.

I see Brendon is going gangbusters already - lets hope he can deliver us a quick fire century and get us off to a good start. He will be hating that Gupt has had the limelight the last few matches - he will want his run records back ! Lets hope this does not work against him and he goes cheaply.
