He is up against Slater in the first round - but he will get a second chance if he does not make it through. But he has been on fire the last 3 weeks - and is a known Pipe performer.
Now back to the lb room
Go Chelsea Williams, 2014 women's LB world champ after beating Kelia in the final, yeeeeeeoooow!!
crap conditions at Pipe - still too much sand at the end section. A shame - imagine you are in the trails with 3 other surfers and all pumped and no decent waves come through all heat ! Ahhh Well that scenario just unfolded on the previous heat.
there were a couple of good wipeouts early. That was a ripper of a wave - thanks for posting as I have been out all day and not had a compute run front of me for a change so missed lots of the action.
^^ well thought out scoring system.
Could the Asp do similar? Comps in good waves are ranked higher than those in shizz?
Guess over each asp comp the conditions are so varied it would be tough to rank each comp.
I'm just going to say it... I found the men's LB World Title footage posted on her a bit uninspiring compared to the stuff we see on Malo's "More longboarding" thread, or compared to the Noosa Festival stuff. I guess it's a matter of SOUL.
(Still glad Harley Ingleby won, cos his free surfing is great.)
