Actually the pain from the op is not that bad, it's just really tender, when they took my wife's gallbladder out 10 years ago it was just the one incision near the belly button, they put one into my belly button and 3 into my chest, I presume that's because they had to try and flush out all the stones that came adrift from the gallbladder.
What really hurt was when I had the attack on Monday night, I really thought the old jam tart had done its dash.
After the local quack did the ECG and confidently said it was definitely not a heart-attack was the only really good news I had, he looked at my records and said, "with Cholesterol that low, you'll probably never have one".
I'm just one of those people who seems genetically predisposed to low cholesterol despite the fact that I do everyone wrong, I think the first time I was tested was about 28 years ago and it was near 2, and I weighed about 76kg now I'm well on the wrong side of 100 and it's sill not much higher.
I would not like to have a real heart attack if that's what they feel like.
mmmmmm I tried to watch the telly .... had the loud switch at 32 and still struggled to hear it brother .... all day long its hammered down yeehaaaaaaaaaa
Just got home from Burleigh huge king tide is way up the beach, going to be some damage, saw a shark buoy washed up at Kirra heading down south tomorrow.
Sunshine Coast had clear skies at sunset but raining again now.
No wind though at all and only light rain. Tomorrow will be a cracker.
ET.
The beach at my point break is gone again, so I guess that's another bank out back that we did not really need. I can't get within a couple of hundred meters of longy to look at that, but I'll assume it's not pretty. There's flooding on the road beside dy lagoon so the lagoon must be chockers and digging out a really big channel.
I'm wondering what keeps hitting my car as I'm typing, it's branches off Bunya pines, the closest is 20 meters from me
yeah its pissing down narrabeen lake residents on evacuation alert,my front yard is under water,I'm wondering if the swells getting in to a little point wave inside a bay close by,getting to it would be the hard part.Next couple days it should be epic,i hear its sunny on the goldy today so tomorrow should be clear here too, take care out there
I found this quote on surfline;
"Getting old can be really good for your surfing. Once your back and knees stop working, it's impossible to get all amped and squatty and grunty and lame. Instead you just kind of stand there, cruising along, cool as the other side of the pillow. Because that's all your body will allow"
I thought is was funny, true but funny.
I've been wandering around here for about an hour, I can't believe what has happened to this poor beach.
Been in the area for over 40 years and can't recall it this bad
I guess we had that King tide at exactly the wrong time
Looks like Sydney coped it worse then here.
We managed to avoid the worst of it, lots of rain but winds didn't get as strong as expected a bit of erosion but nothing as bad above.
Some serious waves around this morning..
Sounds like things have got a lot worse on the beachfront at Collaroy overnight. The pictures when the sun comes up will not be pretty.
Probably collaroy beach they got smashed by the swell again last night reminiscent of cyclone swell of 74.feel for those homeowners
