Cheers Lfish and TB - it should cure but I do not have the time The glass has had a lot of time to cure - its really just one filler coat that hasn't......should be ok - otherwise I will have to build another one
Thanks fellas - its been sanded and the finish resin applied so all it needs now is some wet & dry for the polish and she will be all go..........I picked up a new leggie for her today and some screws for the fin.....forgot the wax though Thought she deserved a nice new block all too herself.
She just needs a name now and it will be complete. Any ideas?
Thanks for the suggestions....tough morning of wet n dry action - 4 lots of it then the polish and now she is looking pretty nice (a wee bit biased I know) and ready for some action. The fin needed some last minute adjustment to ensure she fitted well. Been a great experience - big thanks to Bucko who made it all happen. Thanks guys for all yr feedback and thoughts along the way. Will get some pics of it in action this week if all goes well.
I think its fair to say that this will be the first of many builds now.....I think I already have the next one sorted (just need to try and keep it from the misses) but we will see how this one goes first.
Looks great Teddy, was the fin a bit big or do they make them like that to fit what you have?
