Got tired of trying to address the selection criteria in an employment application, browsed the board ads online and went out and grabbed this well-loved 9'2 x 22" x 2.75" fun machine :

Nice work Wavey ..... hope ya get amongst it - looks the shizz

Thanks Pup and SMH and Mac.
The board's a bit like me, better from a distance, bit rough up close.
But it's from a good local shaper (Peter White) and I have an egg shaped by him, plus i have an 8'1 McT Carver. And they are all yellow so I will try to set up a quiver shot later in the week (have just lied on the job app about my photographic ability, so it will be handy to get some practice. ). There's also a 7'2 mid-length but it's brown and green (the choc-mint paddlepop). Oh - and a 10'6 Nalu 666. (Yellow, of course!)

Highlights well I have had a few today.

1. Shared a coffee or two with Macaha and Lacey. Though Lacey drank tea.
2. Saw Lacey's abs. Yep that's right he has abs.
3. Made it to Byron safe and sound.
4. Set up camp.
5. There are waves at the Pass. Only small waves granted but waves just the same.
6. For a week I am trying not to get in the car and surf just out the front.

Yep all highlights for me.

Cheers

Whilst at races yesterday we were debating how much Souths would win by. One of the boys mentioned Josh Dugan as a real danger man. One of the other blokes said what do you mean - you think tampon will have that much influence? I said - tampon? What does that mean? He goes - simple - in for one week out for 3 - 12 blokes spat their beer out in laughter !! And then he goes and gets injured a few hours later. Gold.

A coach of my 17's rugby side was called minibus cause he's half a coach.
Also had a mate called Showbags cause he was full of sh1t.
Another mate had a nickname Penis. It was kind of embarrassing calling out "go penis" when playing footy.

Knew a bloke once who's Nic was "cardboard", when I asked someone was he called cardboard because he has such an expressionless face I was told

" No, it's because he fills all the rust holes on his crappy car with cardboard and then covers it in filler, but now that you mention it, he does have an expressionless face"

Yes Ted!

Today's highlight... getting my Tracker!! Then doing a quick video review / overview... followed by a session in head-high point breaks... Winki for the christening!

Uploading the video now.

The Tracker is..... a very beautiful thing!
It's equally as exquisite as my lovely wife!
Macaha thinks I should maybe sleep with the Tracker tonight!

Good for you. Sounds like down the south end a bit, although if it was a nor-easter up the north end. Either way nice work to be able to get out mid-week.
My early mid weeks are almost impossible now. After sitting there for 10 mins, this morning, paddled out at 6am. Bit sketchy. Daylight saving gone soon???

Sorry - just had to

Glad you having a good time ET - enjoy yr break. Carbonara is one of all time fav dishes. I always cook a big batch of this this when the missus is away - dinner then break the next day and sometimes lunch as well - its also a great thing to pre make before going camping. You can just heat it up on the camp stove. Love it

Now do not get me started on the European backpackers.
