Have we done a Tracker thread yet?
I like this;http://www.mctavish.com.au/surfboards-buy/traditional-logs/tracker/tracker-19067
And this;
I reckon they look cool. The surfing looks really stylish and a cross between short boarding and long boarding.
Pretty much bang on Pup!
Looks like this one has a solid redwood stringer though... You adding those pics to this post is not helping my weak will power for nice boards! (as in resisting purchase!)
OoooOOoo... this might be the answer to my big, steep wave problems when my traditional 10' won't do.
Either a Tracker, DMS Zephyr, or Southcoast Slot Machine.
Reminds me of Morning of the earth.. Awesome style, not just ripping the wave to shreds and throwing airs that belong on a skateboard
Trackers sound nice but for those mere mortals that do not have a long long long righthand point break or two in the backyard then they would be what I would call surplus to requirements.....one day I will once again live within touching distance of a quality wave like you have Simondo. In the mean time I am forced to stick with the beachies and slab like reefs we have here
I looked at a 6'8" single fin circla late 1970's this morning at a garage sale....came very close to grabbing it but for the same reason that I will not be buying a tracker I decided against it - it would have limited use for me and the chickybabe will not let me have an unlimited surfboard collection so I have to choose carefully....she thinks that 6 is too many as it is!!!!
My brother has a 7'6 which he got before last trip to Bali. He pretty much lives there now 6 weeks on 6 weeks off and raves about this board
He is about to turn 43 and has ridden longboards his entire life - is a big step going to a "shortboard"
