OB have a look at the Salty Merchants fins too, I've got a 9" flex fin in my 10' whalebone and find it a great all rounder. However on the hotlog I've heard the Shapers Big Kahuna also works well.

Vanders, I may try one of those salty flex fins, never really tried anything quite like them before, maybe the Elevator.
The more I read the more it seems to boil down to just 3 things, with only 2 really counting for me:
1. The broader bottom to top fins set back for nose riding
2. The classic dolphin with a wide base and a gradual taper set towards the middle of the box for all round performance and a good glide
3. A tall narrow flex fin set a bit forward in the box for more whippy rail to rail work and good speed out of a turn.
For me, 2 does not really count because I have 2 boards specially made for a good cruise and glide, the SouL Surf and the Munoz. 1 does not count for much because, as much as I like it, I'm not really a very good nose rider.
So I'll have a crack at a fin that may suit 3.
I'm not one for shopping online, site unseen but that Thomas fin did look good.
Should work in my McTavish Noserider hahaha Andyroomactavish
Oh I won't listen to the table of no knowledge just kidding but hey love his new log model on the gram.
