Dropped in to a small town bottlo on the way home from fishing today and scored $400ish worth of killer shiraz for $50 from the bargain bin. Winning!!
Sorry Scotty - been drinking more beer the last week or two. Tonight though its on the French - thanks JJF. The wife loves this stuff - so only on special occasions - as the unwritten rule that one bottle of verve is never enough means it can get a bit exey
You need to mix up your vineyards a but more
Unbelievable for $28
great drop just up the road from us. They do a great Cab Merlot as well if you like red blends.
Am I the only pr1ck who drinks farkin wine around here ?
Scotty on the way home from Dans...
If that was your beast SP it would have a slightly better range in the boot
Just had a couple glasses of this one. Lots of honey type flavours but still pretty tasty

I havn't posted coz I tend to find something I like & just drink it until something else comes along...so I'm still consuming the odd glass of 5L cask rose in between Hammer & Tongs beers until my next homebrew is done
Am I the only pr1ck who drinks farkin wine around here ?
No, I'm another prick that drinks wine around here, but I can't tell you what I'm drinking because the cardboard was water damaged so the name and vintage are missing
But on the bright side, it was heavily discounted
I couldn't go past this aptly named brew. .it reminded me of a few Breezers
is it drinkable? by that I mean, do you throw up within an hour after drinking it? if No, it's drinkable
Got to get some of that for the next road-trip.
I can just see the pup looking like a constipated rabbit while he's sniffing it and giving us a few pearls of wine wisdom
And Vander trying to work out how the fark he can make it breath for 15 minutes
Three fast bowlers, but which one Dennis Lillee Cab Sav or the Jeff Thompson Merlot,Ive already drunk the Rodney Hogg Shiraz a while back as I'm not a big wine drinker but that was bewdiful
you know something I really believe scotty and this thread is having a positive effect on my appreciation of wine and the finer things in life, just tonight my missus says to me "can yer help me get me Aldi goon bag open" .
I says to er, "not a problem me ol luv" and in a flash I've got the cardboard ripped perfectly along the perforated flap, the tap out and positioned correctly before delicately placing the flap back down to hold it all secure.
The dear little thing then rushes in, schooner glass in hand, and salivating for the first little tipple of the new vintage.
I bar her progress with me hand, she turns to me with a look of disgust, and just as she about to glass me I says to er, "no darl, not yet, ya gotta let it breath for 15 minutes"
Never thought I'd ever reach this level of so fist a cation
I'll be stuffed Obs ..... Aldi's even into Kidney Bags now hahahaha ..... as per the above champion I have a special one waiting for the corkscrew
Margaret River Cleanskin Shiraz has gone down well this arvo, no need for a photo just picture those words with a happy face beside it haha

Yes Pup
Not wine but scored 2x Jim Beam 1.125 L bottles for 32 bucks each duty Free
Nice Al.
Is it cheaper at Dans then duty free ?
After my recent trip to Fiji I didn't see a huge difference in price.
I always buy duty free cause I've got a pocket full of cash on me.
How's that iPad apple pen going Scotty you bought duty free ?
Answer: Still in the box.
