Getting sideways huh Mac?

And yep, for sure Vanders, Pinot would have to be my favourite varietal I reckon. We'll go and smash some Chinese BBQ and Pinot.

Those of you that received my email noting the Cabernet that got Double Gold in San Fran etc didn't act fast enough, after Ray Jordan's 98pt review over the weekend we've flogged over 300 dozen this week. It's gone.
Give you a tip fellas, if you get a hot tip from me jump on it 'cos it won't last long. That wine was one of three 2014 Cabs awarded Double Gold from the second biggest wine show on Earth. It missed out on the gong for best Cab in the World by one point. And all for under $23.
They also took Gold for their Shiraz, the ONLY winery in the world to win gold for both their Shiraz and Cab from the same site. It's a pretty special vineyard.

That particular winery is very small batch booze, there was only a 1000 cases of that Cabernet made and about the same of Shiraz, to put that in perspective there's well over 10,000 cases of Grange produced each year. The current vintage of Shiraz is in Halliday's new book at 96pts and RRP of $34 ($23 for you lot) the current vintage of Grange didn't rate a mention in Halliday's new book and retails at $785.

I'm making nada on any of these orders that you guys place, I've organised all the orders to go through my admin girl to lift her online sales. As I said though if you want to pick my brains, give me a bell. If you have a favourite wine that you drink there's a very good chance that we'll have something at half to two thirds the price that will kick it's arse.

Where was my email?

good one mick, you enjoy it

That reminds me, about 7 years ago I was invited to a wine tasting lesson at Lindermans Estate weekend wine tasting by a wine wanker friend of mine.

It was a real education especially the bit about the subtle aromas.

It really works, after just a few hours my nose was easily able to pick up on the delicate scent of money and the wine wankers pocket lint

Gotta go now, my aldi soft dry red awaits

Cheers mate, enjoy

Yep after living in the Margret River region & working on vineyards for 5 years I know a thing or two about wine...& wine wankers

I consider wines like the Berri Rose to be mass marketed cleanskins haha. I've bought 5 or 6 now & one was not as nice as the rest to be honest. Way I see it is if you have disposable cash for some wine others have deemed to be marketable for $$$+++ go for it. I have too may other priorities for spending mine

I drink wine. Pretty much only drink wine.
Father in law is a wine maker
Sister in law is a wine rep
Brother in law is a wine distributor
Wife's cousin us a wine maker

So wine is in our family in a big way.

Got a couple of these we brought back from Czech Republic, best rose I've ever had. About $4 from the minimarts there which is about the medium price for bottles of wine in Czech. Looking forward to drinking one next week celebrating the missus birthday
