I have not surfed at all this weekend. Bummer. Could have had a few 1-2ft sliders but it did not excite me. Looks like no decent waves for a few more days

Im hearin ya Ted...same here...only one bank working in the entire port mac area and we had the Bird Rock Classic all weekend...thus ended any surfing...many people from afar decended on the one poor bank... Shame the classic had such poor waves...really nice vibe comp with good cause. Watched quality surfing in very less than quality surf.

Snuck out late today after the comp finished for some 1-2ft super sucky beach break.

water so warm

Bells was fun today!

Head high, with the odd set just overhead...

And I surfed a blue board... 2 surfers commented that the board looks great!

Asea, this board goes unreal in smallish stuff too!
It does it all... The high line speed, speed bottom turns, or the harder sharper bottom turns... LOONNGG drawn out cutties, but holds the speed perfectly! But you can whip it around a bit tighter too...

I was also doing those late 70's "snake" turns today too...

Very versatile board... Asea, you know you want one! I know what you're thinking... "I just wanna ride them all!" - Asea, 2014

Maybe the question should be - if you were back in Avalon would you have the same quiver ?

Sounds like today Simondo could have been on a much shorter board - I would probably be on a 5'10" in those waves but then I remember I need a big wettie and it's Bells so I just added a good chunk of volume but not that much !

Sensational waves for the last few days....which has made the last few night shifts hard....today being Friday and I was so happy to see some perfect banks at home. 3hours and a big sleep made the perfect day.
Now to plan for tomorrow.

Oh got sent this pic.from some 17 photog girl and the waves looked like this, just a bit smaller
