^^^ to LL I know what you saying.
parants should tell little girls to act like little girls. They will get plenty of time for acting like an Adults ,

another cool surf today. I Was watching a bloke on a 666 today absolutely smashing it,the wife said he never fell in the water once In two hours.
it looked like Pat Eastwood I could be wrong.
god my wife is the best ,she's been getting up at five making a coffee getting everything ready taking the dog walking alone the beach while I have a surf.

now the birthday boy is off to Parrilla for a South American feast.

I Had ad a great day surfing today and glad I could share it with you.

Thanks Ted,
I know you're running the AM2 thruster set (if memory serves) so I reckon you could get a bit more hold by running it as a quad with some rakey rears when its pushing its limits. We've had some throaty waves here lately and I've been tweaking my fins too.
You'd absolutely love the 6'6" V4 I have. Pinpoint control in juicey waves and in the tube. It would be an excellent Indo board with its size range listed as 4-10' as opposed to the nano's 2-6'.
[URL= .html]

I have been looking at one of these for Indo as my 6'6" Unibrow gets a bit sketchy at around double head +

Can you give some feed back Cuttlefish comparing how she paddles etc

Worth have a look at the Firewire forum in the V4 section. I have a nano which I ride most of the time in beachbreaks and got the V4 for times when the nano is in its upper limits. The nano is a 6'2" but has a little bit more volume.
To be honest I'm not used to surfing pointy nosed boards anymore and the nose trips me out a bit.
It paddles well but my takeoffs are a tad later than on the nano because the nano gets on plane earlier.
Having said that when dropping in it is ultra easy and loves a steep drop. Feels like it has pinpoint control and pulling into a barrel you're at ease.
I reckon it would be a great Indo board.
So I'll probably sell mine after just a few surfs on it because when the beachbreaks really start heaving I'd prefer to either be on something a bit longer for a more relaxed take off (not getting any younger) or be heading to my local point as the beachbreaks usually close out too often when its sizey.

Hiya Weiry

I hadn't had a surf since not last Friday, but the Friday before. Only surfed today & was on the 666 yesterday. I was sick with a nasty summer flu, but there wasn't any surf to miss anyway. Today was really nice like Pup said, just fun size waves with very few crew out. I can cutback no prob while switchfooting on the LB now. The pristine conditions made it easy. Next steps foam rebounds

BTW nice pics Weiry, looks uber fun

Just got back from surfing that same bank I was on yesterday. Smaller today but perfect conditions with very little wind and only about half a dozen spread out over a distance of around 150 meters. Water very warm and clear. If only we had a bit more swell.

you have to re-adjust what is normal over here Pup - its a re-scaling as such ! I find myself questioning if I should paddle out as it does not look perfect - when back home you would be frothing and jumping out of your skin to paddle out. Need to retain focus at all times
