Here's a pic of my near new 2012 KTM 450 Enduro.
(Disclosure, this is a brochure picture!)
It's the current model, effectively, bar a few little cosmetic differences. Saved 25%... Mine is ex-demo with 400km. I was finding it hard to justify the cost of a Brand New one! Plus, I told myself that I must first sell the old one!
Big deal
This is my new surf buggy
This is what it looked like before I got stuck into it with the gas axe

WOW Obs ..... I'm coming to your Pad brother geez that last pic is an absolute ripping classic
Nice ride Simondo - any action pics?
Not yet... my mind is working on it though.
Might set the camera up, for video mode, and do a few "ride by's".
nice loking machinery, used to have a KTM super motard 950, had to sell it before it killed me, way to tempting to twist that throttle.
I have a old KTM640 640 Super Motard which I am having tuned into a cafe racer which will look like this:
Should be finished in 4 weeks

Here's a good hill run Boofy.
Nice Simo the KTM sounds great I miss my younger days screaming around The Watagan State Forest with a camelback full of bundy and coke. Update from my wifes boss Cape York trip the BMW has been put on its side three times and two broken toes he is at the Cape now hope he makes it back alive we need him so we can pay our mortgage

Yeah that looks like a nice spot to go for a cruize......you could see the blokes confidence rise as his ride progressed....he still looked like he was over cooking his corners though and I am not surprised he was passing most of the others - they had even less of an idea how to corner!! Lovely spot though.
Here's my bike. Pretty much identical to the one I posted above.
Next I'll get some iPhone footage, while I'm riding. It seems that if I tape some Cotton Wool over the microphone, it should cut out the wind noise, and just record the engine noise, plus the riding footage!
GoPro iPhone !

Boof, you might find this funny.
This arvo, I went about fixing a 10 year old Radio Controlled car. Gear Box wasn't engaging, or perhaps faulty electric motor... Stripped it down, took it all apart, opened up the gear box, had a play, adjusted the cogs/gears, rear axle, and "re-test". Same problem still there.
Stripped it down further, extracted the electric motor, blew it off, dusted out the "mother board", thinking this thing has f#$ked resistor (flux capacitor?) or something, that I'll never figure out... I was thinking, "bin it, in parts..."... But I re-assembled it, only took 10 minutes (max), plugged the battery into in, and BANG !! It was working again!
My 4 year old was mesmerised at the seeing the cogs in the gear box, wheels off, canopy off, suspension "spread eagle"... etc... The thing was a total mess... as far as a 4 year old thinks !
Funny Simo lucky there were no bits left over when the car went back together. I am rooted tonight we had 16 kids down at Kingscliff creek for a pirate party all day. I took my three sups a kayak super soaker water pistols they had a ball although one required hospital with a filthy oyster cut this is a pic of the cake my sister made for the party the kids were stoked

I want to see the photos of this one when it's finished
Will post some images as soon as its finished.
If for no other reason to keep a bike thread going to annoy Lacey.
Should be special though as I have given one of Oz best custom bike garages free rein to do what ever they want. So its custom build everything, wheels, seat tanks, rear sets etc and they are known for their attention to every detail.
Fingers crossed though, as like all things custom, bikes, sups or boards .. you never know till its finished and you ride it.
