My first new board was a 6'1" Hohensee twinnie bought from the GC (Mermaid Beach?) Hohensee surfshop in 1979, when i was living in Brisbane. Was replaced by a succession of thrusters in early 80s, none of which went as well. Wish I still had it- like an MR twinnie, single flyer swallowtail with 'v'. They were (are) ripper boards.............
By the time the newcastle knights fall short of the top 8 I hope to have a 7'6 sub moon firewire 2x tolhurst 9'1 longboards and I'd like to sell my log and buy a maclearwatertavish kinda log seen in this very forum
One of the boards I have been searching for has been purchased this morning. LL is going to love it. Ended up paying a bit more than I had previously intended but sometimes you do not mind once you lay your hands on it.
Mid length and greenish - not sure if I will ever ride it
Its for the lady Full carbon - so light its ridiculous.
