I was just thinking. for all the amount of time on the breeze ive got no idea what pup surfs

He has a beautiful Ron Goddard long board - I even had it in my sweet little arms to take it for a surf one day last month - but the surf god Huey failed to deliver and we passed on a session. Instead we just chewed the fat and spun some good yarns. Go the Pup I say !

Thinking about downsizing to 1 SUP ( DC 8 11) one longboard ( Goddard nimbus ) quiver . Only boards I use at the moment and tend to find when I do jump on the others wish I was back on them.

Must admit the new TC line of SUPs is very , very tempting

yeah ive seen one. they are nice

Hahaha to funny lacey.

go back through other threads ,I've done that before.
but i will play again..

waiting on H to get better after the loss of his best friend/wife. he will be making me a custom some time next year.
also a 9' beach break board,,CW or Mct.i have spoken with chrispy about this board.... my quiver was chopped/sold off just before the redline arrived in may.
quiver was 5x 666's, 1x mid, 1x Hono log 1 x9' bear,,, i miss that board Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

my quiver will be 1x 14'DW board/fitness … 1x9'1 , 1x9'6" 666 for small surf.
1x log for the point.
1 x9' for the beach.
1x mid for bigger days.
and the H board is for the wall only.

My first new board was a 6'1" Hohensee twinnie bought from the GC (Mermaid Beach?) Hohensee surfshop in 1979, when i was living in Brisbane. Was replaced by a succession of thrusters in early 80s, none of which went as well. Wish I still had it- like an MR twinnie, single flyer swallowtail with 'v'. They were (are) ripper boards.............

I've decided no more boards for me, just stick with what I've got & work on improving techniques.

The fun was surfing the 10' whalebone today and had a ball even in the sucky low tide conditions, even pulled off a couple of floaters, it handled it well so now I just need to work on the 'me' part.

One of the boards I have been searching for has been purchased this morning. LL is going to love it. Ended up paying a bit more than I had previously intended but sometimes you do not mind once you lay your hands on it.

That volume & width is gonna make for a steep learning curve. But Rose is pretty fit, so persistence should pay off....there's no way it'll work for you mate unless you ditch the paddle...it wouldn't work for me either
