and all jokes aside there is a shortboard room for such a board
Longboard porn!
Great shot of a board in a store but it ain't sitting on a certain bbq so what's the big deal? Do you own it or not Mr L?

Interesting - how about a rocker shot?
How long before you get it?

You just keep on doing what you do best.... dropping in on kids, the elderly and me lacey. Makes no difference what art you have

Geez, the Platypus didn't last long (sorry I'm kinda new around here...LOL).
Why's it gone...ergo shortcomings?
I just scored a basically new (for all intents and purposes) MR Flying fish 6'6" for a very nice price.
It is a Surftech however but I don't care as it's my summer time, crowded beachbreak wave board.
Good to have a board that can be dinged and A: still be watertight and B: be dinged and have nary a concern.
Actually goes pretty good. Had it out yesterday am at Maroochydore in chest to head high peaky stuff running AMT twins and an MR tfx trailer.
Felt too tight in all but the larger of the waves so I've put in a knubster in the fin thruster plug to try tomorrow.
Looks like theres a 6'6" flying fish in the rack behind the Puffer fish in your pic actually.
I once asked Neil (from Coolie surf) which board in his shop he'd recommend to me since we've been surfing Alex at the same time, many times and he was "MRs".
Why the puffer fish and what size did you go for Lacey?
Lacey shouldn't you be getting ready for your big night in the booth signing autographs
I hope you took my advice and had a shave and pressed the tee shirt before leaving

hi, looked at the shorter flying - the one with the white pin line, but when you but it on the floor it had a bit too much rocker for what I want. nice board tho.
just wasn't using the plat enough and it had this little bit too much thickness up front that I was having to deal with.
would get that board again but thinned out forward.
puffer for ****e beachies or hoping for average point surf. somewhere between a long boardand the hard railing speedy wombat mk 11 as a quad.
I was shown a v3 mayhem but I tried the v2 and hated it and as far as I can see same kind of rocker- very small sweet spot
Lacey your copping crap in the other room as well
They only hate him cos he's right and deep down they know it.

I don't think they hate him there all mates
It took me a little over a year to convert him
Yep....
Seems like everybody loves Lacey.
(Hey, that would make a good TV show.)
.... back on topic.... I really like the nose outline on the MR Puffer Fish I've seen.

Interesting about the Platypus.
I happily grabbed the flying fish because of that nose rocker. Especially after getting my arse handed to me on sucky takeoffs the day before on my new quad fishy.
So it'll be used with the nano in beachbreaks and which one gets the nod will depend upon the thickness of the crowds.
Wonder why MR has done a squash tail on the puffer...more area in the tail for a 5 fin option?
Lacey don't ever bag Mac about changing boards, mate you have got him hands down
Lacey , Mac & Asea are single handedly keeping the entire Board economy afloat
