Bodie, it seems was like 25yrs late
Big big swell due to arrive late week and into the weekend
Any one else hear this. .?
Trying to decide gnarloo or indo
Have a week from Saturday
I have a mate who has flown to Indo and another who arrived in Gnaraloo yesterday. The bloke going to Indo surfs 8-10'waves on a 6'2" so he is no shrinking violet but he said Gnaraloo would be too big and heavy for him. Personally I ain't convinced. The forecast I have seen for Gnaraloo looks like sweet solid fun without entering the realms of "OMIGOD I AM GOING TO DIE". 6-8' not 10-12'.
But then again, what do I know? I am a coward.
Also interested in the other options factor
Yknow
Places that would not come to life except for that 50yr swell

I don't for a second buy that Gnaraloo forecast. I'm calling 10ft plus and want no part of it either. I really don't know where to go, my usual will be a wash out. Local and Mandurah should pump but I hate people, south the same but biiiiiiig. Got somewhere in mind but it'll be a punt.
You have to take that punt, because if it pays of with great waves and no crowds its a much sweeter feeling than surfing you usual.
Spot on Lord Huge, perfect forecast to spend a little bit of additional time and check places that can spring to life.
The usual spots will be ridiculous with crowd, they attract idiots like a magnet, they can have it. Waves there will be good but the amount of people makes it hard to enjoy.
Ill be looking at a few 'novelty' waves.
Lol. Well I am looking for a 9'6" for down here. My biggest board is 8' and there is no way that is big enough for where I am considering.
Ah poor Patrick Swayze
Died from food poisoning after eating oysters
That's right
Oysters kilpatrick
Thought it was mussell related?
Will see what happens in Gero, couple of spots will be maxing,
And quite a few spots will turn on for a very pleasant 3-4 foot too.
I know a spot that will handle it and handle it well....your going to need a bigger boat and pray that the winds right...RCJ and TC missed the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...you work out the rest
that's what i'm thinking too...along with half of the metro probably...
indicators at strikko
cow bombie
That 1st one has almost taken our boat out with sneaker sets bolgo
never seen it surfed though, but heard Mitch Thorson used to surf it when he lived there
going to be so many freakin people in the water all weekend. Hopefully though, enough spots will turn on that it can thin the crowd a little.
Can't wait to see what comes...
Bathers Beach Freo, gonna be 6-8 foot easy!
Seen it 2' a few years ago a couple of km south of there.
There's also that mysto windsurfers' bank off the moles but it needs an onshore storm more than a groundy.
Period's gone through the roof, it's on the way.
I just finished a paper today that I've been stuck writing for the past 9 months...which means I have the next week off before I've gotta go to Coral Bay for work. I'll take this as a present :)

I know a left around Gero that will be off chops
