My 5'11" js hifi blackbox lasted 1 month of daily surfing with a small crease appearing first. Followed by the dreaded front foot crease next. Phone calls and emails to JS are a waste of time. Over the last couple of years I've bought 4 new js boards and have been pretty happy. However the hifi is a let down for me. JS's back up service is non-existent. Very disappointed.

js boards are trash, never last. Have had 2 - glad I sold my blackbox2 on gumtree while it still had some value.

after selling it, I bought a FireWire almond butter machado board. Fair to say I Love it.

If that's one month, you are thrashing the poor thing!

If they are playing hardball (or no-ball) with calls and emails regarding this - smash their Facebook page. They may not let you create a post but you can comment on one they have at the top.

You can also attach pics to the comment

There is no excuse for lack of customer service in such a competitive industry.

They replied quickly to me when I mentioned I have seen more snapped JS boards than any other brand on a faceBook post
got very uppity and righteous about their product and the pride they have in their product

I finally spoke to Chris from JS. He has been away and apologised for not getting back to me. They are sending a new board up. He was telling me the later Hifi's now have denser foam, they wrap the glass around the rails a bit further and have a deck strip running down the centre. They had approx. a 10% return rate on the previous hifi's and no problems with the new design. So I've got to say I've gone from been really disappointed to extremely happy. There was no argument, Chris just asked what new board would I like. Loving JS again.

Glad you had a win Vogsie, good on them for finally coming to the party and owning it.
