I will post fishing photos of dead fish in the esky.
everyone has been warned.
sunday-Tuesday fishing, possible unforecast spike in swell weds just a bump on the tide other than that it's a lock in on the long range for Friday/sat next week

I have a couple months off after my last gig of 7 years.
I remember that surfing is fun

I know guys who worked at Freeport and the stories they tell are really out there well done on getting through it

Yesterday was our last day, after surfing our brains out we snuck out a few mile, first drop got a Dhuie each.(bag limit of Dhuie is 1 per person or max 2 per boat)
called it on the spot as a most successful day, surfed another wave up the reef system on the way in and now home to eat Dhuie tonight

Water was 23 degrees in arvo and air temp the same actually surfed in boardies*
(second surf time was only 45 minutes due to tiredness and shark paranoia/suspect splashes/bait school. 3 good waves......)

please do do not drop in on the guy in the photo.
i know this is a surf forum but Hey a Dhuie is a Dhuie.

Talked Buster into a day off yesterday and made the trip with fingers crossed hoping for an arvo glass off and Huey didn't disappoint.

If you were 8 it would have offered up the occasional funster. The dad brigade on the rocks looked a bit feral but.

The groms must be spewing, every time their little spot turns on they are inundated with seniors

I checked it on Friday there were ten out I thought hmm not too bad.
i got a coffee and left them to it.
I didn't go yesterday and check as i would of paddled out and been an "fat old asshole" that's what I called big men when I was a grommet surfing there*
the men I called fat old assholes as a child would roll me in the beach sand and throw handfuls of sand down my wetsuit, it is sad that kids of today miss out on these experiences

North beachies firing today no pics had kids/missus car full....shoulder/head swell is looking like at least waist to shoulder tomorrow up this end... the reefs I surfed here last week would eat both boat and surfer at current lot of water moving
quick 40 minute froth and further up the coast.....
tomorrow is my morning of freedom

North Mullaloo was a lot straighter than expected - point looked better, but was absolutely chocked full of weed - which eventually headed south and effed up the main break. It was super thick on the inside - leggie off to paddle in thick. Was shoulder to head at 9:30am - and waist to shoulder at 11:30am and becoming inconsistent.

Nice to get out though - and I did better than I expected I would after a few weeks out of the water... only half a kook instead of a total kook
