I went the opposite as i only liked the firewire when there was no wind and little chop.
Got my version glassed heavy and it has payed off ten fold in my mind. Absolutely love this board for what it was made for,and have had a few intresting yet fun times in days where I should have had something else. I run shapers s9's with tiny trailer from a longboard.....oh it is a Clearwater from Mr Steve del Rosso
Glassed by the best laminator in the WORLD, the lady of many colours

if we are talking pimps this chrispy bloke, if he is indeed a real surfer, is the pits.

I have been riding this board more over Christmas. The CabSav is fun but I must say it took a long time for me to get used to it. I had to convert back to a thruster set up to slow the board down initially, then as I found the feel for it I went back to the quad setup. It is fast and responsive in the pocket on an average beach break. I'm just an average surfer but have had several comments on how good it looks under my feet. It was worth persevering with.

stoked Grant I ride as quad. Haven't really tried as thruster. I have been switching between my cab sav and Bombay blues model this summer. My. bombay blues is 5'10 x 20 x 2 1/2 goes good when it gets a bit bigger 2-4ft and leave the Cab Sav for 0-2ft. Spray on that one bit pink and hectic for me Crispy man cobra I recomend the 'Power of Now'
