Maybe you would enjoy it more with a bigger board. Just because you can do something doesn't mean it's easy or being done in the optimal way.
10ft on a 6'7 is pretty hardcore - no one I know surfs waves that big on a board that small.
Yea , Quite possibly mate. There is definitely a comfort issue involved with extra length and volume especially with paddling and catching waves. Its a shame they dont perform the same .
Anyway , sorry to hijack thread HA..... back to singlefins
I reckon my new stick would handle 6-8foot no worries; Plenty of paddling power with speed to burn!!
Bender that is some board porn right there mate!!! That bad boy is sick!
Phill Myers actually shaped my very first brand new board. I remember my old lady went and bought a 6'4 for me for christmas from Brothers Nielson back in 92'.
Awesome stuff mate
Check this out Kearnsy. This is a mate who's about to get the beating of his life to this very day. He was on a 6'10 (I think?). After that day he got a 9'2
Ha its all shoulders and big balls mate
My 6'7 is 18 1/2 x 2 3/8 and I run the old M5's FCS.
That pic is 10 ft easy... easy! Poor bloke , and yep we have all been there haha.
So now he rides a Mal??
Great fishing weather at the moment, especially in this thread.....
FARRRQQ Thats awesome Kearnsy, that would be hard work for most of us. Occys 6'6" 19 3/8 x 2 5/8 when he's 90kg
