Arkgee, could you please post some more shots of the bottom?
It looks like a single concave into something that I just cant work out!!

BTW that looks awesome, seen a few pintail quads now, it should fly! How long is it?

rails are balsa...the dark veneer is, I think servelli (spelling?)a woodworking mate gave it to me,....DOGGY the bottom is pretty simple single to double concave...havnt posted these shots till now because my computer went down...really drove it home how dependant I have become on the damn thing...I live off the coast and have taken up kitesurfing the last few years...so I am constantly on it watching the wind, but even more recently I have been dabbling with computer shapes..so down goes the computer and I have orders for boards that are on file..I have over the last 40 years produced a stack of templates that a friend has named "the archive of curves" but for these orders...no templates nothing...Im thinking this is pretty fu*#ed...when a Jack Johnson song pops into my head..."what prints will come from fingers?...when machines become our hands"...but what is probably more apt is a Little Britain quote "computer says no!"

so what sort of extra moneys are you looking at for a board with balsa rails? Or is that a one off for yourself?

Ok guys seeing as it has taken me this long to post to my original topic so here it is . How much do you guys think it will cost me to get it professionally repaired? Otherwise how would I go about to repair this myself (wouldn't mind having a shot meself). Basically it's a crease/ ding that stretches as a crack from the rails all the way to the stringer. It's probably about 20cm from the fins on a 6'6 shorty. I firstly thought it was just a normal ding and cleaned it and filled it with solarez but got told by surf store owner I'd need to refill it and reglass it or something...

Cheers all.
