Footstraps at 9:10.
thank you for the video.
i think my footstraps are already large enough to enter/go out easily, but indeed i did not enter so deep...
i am scary entering so deep...
I would agree with very large straps. Way larger than those used for wave riding.
No slingshot boards in Japan? bummer
no. i think so.
i have never seen slingshot windfoil boards in japan.
I appreciate your posts, ameo and thedoor .
I am considering SS i99 versus SB SuperCruiser, and thanks to you I got a better idea.
Did you drill wider holes in the original foil box to give way to the 10mm screws needed for the Hoverglide Tuttle adaptor, or you used the screw adapters/spacers from 6mm to 10mm instead, as wsurfn did?
I also have a question for you, thedoor: For which kind conditions and sails do you choose the Levitator and in which ones do you pick the SS freestyle?
Thanks to both!
about the drill holes, here is a very useful video.
Thanks ameo!
So, I assume you drilled those 10 mm holes in the Tuttle box on your SB FoilX 145, didn't you?
yes, i did without hesitating!
Thank you ameo for the videos it is very hard to find good videos of the SB foil X 145. I'm am waiting for my board and will have the same set up as you. I am happy to knopw that SS hoverglid works fine with SB foil X.
I want to know what equipement you used to protect you noseboard?
thank you,

thank you,
SB foil x 145 with SS infinity99 needs so much back foot pressure as SS officially told so. in the light wind, it is no problem, but in strong wind, it would be so hard to ride with so much back foot pressure.
so i ride infinity99 with the most backward footstraps, the most backward mastfoot, and shims i made for 48 cm stabilizer.
then i became to be able to ride with equal foot pressure.

i use the genuine SB nose guard and the surfbent.
the surfbent is so effective to protect the nose, but it needs to take care of the joint urethane frequently... ?
Thank you for this information!
How thick are the shims?
Thank you

now i am trying to decide the proper thickness...
maybe 2 mm works well...

Ameo,
These custom shims are a great idea!! I have a Wizard 105/I76 combo that I find very back foot heavy, esp. because I ride it in high wind. Gonna find a 3-d printer and try this. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Also, I have been reading your reviews of Foil-X with great interest. I am considering replacing the Wizard as I am wanting to do freestyle/swell riding in lighter and more inconsistent winds and I am 90+KG, so need more volume.
It looks awesome, I'm considering changing by Foil 122 to Foil X 145 for my SuperCruiser foil.
i am a japanese foil beginner. i am sorry for my poor english.
i have gotten the foil x!
foil x 145 + infinity99 made me fly so extremely early!! it was perhaps less than 3 m/s wind.
i love them!!!
awesome man! Are you pulling your tack strap down tight? I noticed the tack on the sail a little loose. I makes a huge difference having that pulled down hard.
Im on the SB125 and the Supercruiser. Experimenting with different tunings. Since the Supercruiser is optimized for the x-boards it would be very interesting to hear some x-board messurements. Distance along the centerline from the front tuttle screw to: 1 middle of inner back foot straps. 2 middle of inner front foot straps. 3 middle of the mast track.

yes!
already...
and also made the smaller surfbent for foil X 145...
but the strength test is yet.
