Why not buy the front wing for windfoiling?
I use a 600 sq.cm. kitefoil for all my windfoiling...7-15 knot breezes...at 75 kg and 6.0 sail max if the breeze gusts to 13.
My 1220 wing sits in the van to get wet one out of 5 days just to validate the low end ability of the 600 wing.
A 65 kg friend of mine often uses his custom 450sq.cm. front wing if gusts go over 18 knots.
Aren't these just Moses foils with a slingshot sticker on them?
No, they are a completely new range. Some type of tech mast construction to improve stiffness.

That 633 wind does look sick but I think I would find the 710 fuselage too short for windfoiling
Does that wing fit on a longer fuze?
I'm on Naish 64 fuze, both 1220 and 600, and stabs work either way.

I think it will but I don't think they are selling longer phantasm fuses yet.
Hope they will produce an adaptator to allow the use of an hover glide Wing on a Phantasm mast to enjoy both system
From my understanding the windfoil phantasm is still being tweaked, and there should be a winging foil phantasm system as well.
Obviously the fuse length is pretty important for windfoiling, but the kiters got it first, they're more of them

Kite Friend of me is still waiting for his one. Are there just experiences with the phanstasm's compared to the HG Line?
If the website is correct, that phantasm stabiliser is huge, on the website it says wingspan 400mm, but surface area 567cm2!!
I think they are wrong though, because 400mm wingspan and 89mm chord are never gonna add up to 567cm2, 367cm2 more likely.
Slingshot website always has some mistakes in one place they list 114 wizard sail size 3.5 to 7.5 on the spec. sheet 3.5 to 5.2. I think the the person that does the website has a lot to update with 5 different sports.

Slingshot does not "make" any foil ... they outsource, and the maker is most likely Moses as it was in the past.

These are Slingshot foils, Moses and Slingshot parted company re foils some time ago. Slingshot was the original designer of the popular 633 wing hence being available on the Phantasm range. The mast is double moulded 12k high modulus carbon, not just a wood or foam core. A mate has one on order, I'm very keen to have a go.
Definitely not Moses, I'm thinking a different Chinese manufacturer than before considering the original one they worked with is happily selling their design under other labels now.

Moses manufactures foils. Slingshot does not manufactures anything, it outsources the production (like many do). In previous years the Slingshot wood and foam core wings were not manufactured by Moses.
Apparently you need evidence that you've completed a high altitude training course before you can purchase one of these foils with mast. Also, a specially constructed impact jacket is included in the price of each foil and you have to sign a waiver that you won't hold Sling Shot liable for any injuries due to ejecting without your Sling Shot parachute (also included in the price).
It won't be long before we're all riding one of these!

foiling out on that mast
"Bigger footprint, better foil."
That they spend so much time talking about the advantages of the Big Foot Connection... no irony there.
Do you think they will do an adaptator to use phantasm Aluminiumfuselage with hover glide aluminium mast as it has been done with Moses?
Could be nice to avoid extra mast budget and have a crossover option on both system to complet my actual system instead of replacing It.

Slingshot has designed the Phantasm range to differentiate it's self from Moses. Moses had its foils made by SAB.
The new Phantasm range will build to a complete range as the designs are ready.

If that's the case, there's going to be a lot of disappointed HG owners. More than a few have been waiting a year to lighten up their kit and have a bit of money invested in wings.
