Day 2
Awesome day today everyone out on rs one setups and sups. Lots of family on the water enjoying the gear and kids out sailing. Big hammerhead and turtles around. Really good mood at this years event. Wind kicked in late. 65 of us hit the pub tonight. Still blowing tonight
Day 3
with 2 light days and a very enjoyable comp the wind had finally come through to add the icing on the cake. We set the barge and opened the course. Competitors blasting on 18 knots across a 3km area. As the ride dropped we opened up the northern run and saw col in the helicopter join us
Col did a fantastic job buzzing the guys on the run with his pilot pulling some banked turns ready for the next chase.
Around 5pm we closed the course and headed in for presentation. BBQ was filled withe steaks, sausages and plenty of red claw.
legends was taken out by Geoff fringe, open by vando, womens by Anne and Kellie, youth by Bradley.
Bradley also won the ka koncept in the lucky draw. A great result!
This year we had a massive prize pool with the biggest sponsor support to date.
I'll be back online fully mid week with a bigger wrap. Thanks to everyone. This years event was memorable for all.
Cheers justin

5 out today, high tide runs in 20 kn ese. Next 7 days looks good. Vando has sailed 5 out of 7 days. As I type winds picking up
Shawn what happened I thought you were coming for a high tide sail? Wind was really good and did increase more throughout the day and turn more SE. Was nicely powered up today on the 6.4.
Thanks again Justin for a great event, we had a really enjoyable time and was so good to have the JP/NP trailer there with the sups, longboards and kids kit. Sailed 3 days out of 5 so happy with that.
My first sail in over 1 year! Had a great time - thanks Justins & all the sponsors! All the sailors from interstate and who travelled far to be there - good to see you guys at the event and catch up again!
Was good to get 2 days of sailing in over 5 days and clock over 100km distance sailed! I got some catching up to do!
See you next year!
