hair cut they are the same sail, 5.3,

down haul,

not too much but this being the first time it had been rigged it is still very stiff, but the last few cm;s is very hard even on the older ones

but the hotsails look a bit strange when properly rigged compared to other brands

Because Australia has extremely variable weather conditions. In the tropics you probably only need a thermometer that can read temperatures in the 30s and around 30 words for forecasting. Usually "warm, humid, variable winds with afternoon thunderstorms" will do it.

One of the most empresive sailors i've seen was sailing a home modified glass board for years.Biggest backloops i've ever seen
There is also a dude that rips dutchies on an old glassy and an ancient half gaffa tape sail

If I'd known the nationals were going to be on I would have put in for holidays then - not to compete but to watch you good fellas and go for a sail if the surf wasn't too big. I still might be able to swindle some time off and come up.

OK, I'll 'fess up. I haven't bought any new windsurfing gear for a few years now. But jordo did ask for photos of new toys.

With my new toy, I can now do just under 40kts in less than 5 kts of wind.

Forgive me Huey, for I have sinned. There are now times when I don't want it to be windy.
