I have been wave sailing since 1982 and still don't loop!!!

Ahhh, I don't think so.



Because lotofwind said it, I think we can safely assume that he/she was not considering the "closed universe" theory. Which basically hypothesises that the universe will end when it eventually collapses back on itself in The Big Crunch- the opposite of the Big Bang. So if the thrower is still in space when the Big Crunch happens, technically the boomerang will return to the thrower, along with all other matter in the universe at the same time, which might spoil the thrower's whole day.

But this topic was fascinating facts, wasn't it. Not fascinating theories/hypotheses.
