Yeah it's great to have events like this happening. Gets us motivated. Helps makes windsurfing a more exciting activity. Hopefully the advice and technique given will filter down to those who could not attend.

So what if Guy Cribb gets a bit of free exposure? He is doing a hell of a lot for windsurfing and is living the dream. He helps many to improve their windsurfing, even me with his bit of elastic to guide where harness lines should go. Now to try more downforce.

Hmmmmm.......not the best advice

Pic 4. Rigging Tips: The front
end of your boom should be as
tight as possible on the mast
(it's impossible to crush a mast
with a clamp-on boom)

Thanks heaps Guy!!!!!!!

I'm still buzzing from the Inverloch session, and can't thank you and Doug enough!!!

So many good tips and advice.

I AM DEFINITELY DOWN FOR THE WAVE CLINIC NEXT YEAR!

Fellow Victorians

I missed guys wave session because of a poor wind forecast. I was going to come last minute but didn't. Can you tell me what wind you had?

Was there any wind at the Victorian wave session? I didn't book because of the forecast.

^^^^^ Yuppy, The wind for the 2 day wave course was very light. We didn't get out into the waves. Ive been windsurfing for over 20 years now and may I say that I learnt more during the on beach and light wind sessions than if it was blowing a steady 15 to 20 knots. I was fortunate to spend 6 days doing both clinics and I can't wait for next year.

insanely jealous.

Cribby's Intuition DVD seriously lifted my planing gybe success rate. still watch it every now and then looking to fine tune further and wondering when he'll pull out another instruction vid. it's overdue G-man - get on it and take my money already!!

I can only imagine what you'd learn in person - if cribby can teach Akim a thing or two, then he's got loads in store for me. gotta get myself on the next one!

ps - Alex - I saw you bang out a sweet gybe in that video! And was that Bristol in the background? Hmm...I'm missing out...maybe I need to return to the east coast.

Yes, mate, that was me. A great two days - learnt heaps. Applied some of it this afternoon on a classic "easterly" on LBG. ACT had a good representation; 7 out of the 20 attendees.

Thoroughly recommend you try for the 2014 course; you'll love it.
