Hey Magic, does that imply that your launch on K Lake up there in Oregon is open? Hope so.
Down here in Florida the non-beach parks are still open, so I can get out on occasion for some foiling when the wind is right. With all the beaches closed (thanks to the spring breakers), the selection of launch sites is greatly diminished.

Saw the news on tv about the spring break kids on the beach in Florida and their responses to all this. Anyway, when I called the fish and wild life number, they told me they were going to close the public launch ramps to the lake, but if you live on the lake, it can be used by those people. We know some people who own lots here on the lake, so we're able to launch their. So luckily we can still utilize the lake. Lake is open, just public launch access is closed.
Clever!
BTW, I think I spotted a mechanical joint. Is it just a spare or you actually use it?
thanks, indeed mechanical joint, yes I use it all the time, bought 3 plates, so the mast base stays in the right position on each board.
Think I bought it something like 20 years ago on the gold coast (can't remember the shop name, was somewhere around sporty's warehouse)
So convenient and safe ! I carry a unijoint spare in my vest, "just in case"

I heard they last forever, but are hard on the boards. I use chinook two bolt plates and removable tendons.
today was our sixth session the old wally seems to be working ok
great stuff.
wally is fantastic for kids.
did a lot of exercise today while maintaining appropriate social distancing.
when I started exercising it was around 12-14 knots and by the time I finished exercising it was touching 18 knots.
Why have you put a mini light house on your board...????
To stop other people running into me

Does it start flashing when someone comes within 1.5 m?
Now I get it. A sieve for whatever you are using as deck grip and a roller to wet it out. I usually sail with boots and its amazing how much grip they have and how worn out the grip is on my boards.
I replaced the tendon in my mast base this morning. I hadn't noticed the crack. Not many sessions left in this one!

Yep that's right. I sprinkle caster sugar into the wet resin.
Built some new racks (couldn't find anything decent on the web so decided to build). used planed 50mm x 50mm and some neoprene strips for protection. M10 screws through the back and some metal brackets for strength.
I actually thought you had made it on the floor.. I just had another look and realised the photo had loaded incorrectly.
Finally completed refurbishing all my old 2010 SB speed specials. Two we're done late last year (W44 & W49) and the other two (W53 & W58) are corona projects. Also fixed negative tail rocker and add3da little tail kick on all four boards. I've owned them all from new (2010) and had my money's worth, but since business will be pretty crap this year, I'll be keeping them for a while. Before and after pictures below (first pic doesn't have the W49 in it, I got that a couple of months later). Oh, I just noticed how much thicker the tree trunk has got in 10 years.
great job on the repaint!
In my opinion, the 2010 graphics were the best looking boards from starboard ever. especially tho wood editions. I wish they'd go back to that
