What wonderful footage. When was it filmed?
Is Lake George still deep enough at the moment?

February..I can't say what the depth is like atm. I think wind season has finished for the year?

Based on last being there 2 weeks ago, I'd be confident the water level in LG is still very sailable. It may be that there are even larger areas of flat, more in the middle of the lake.

And there is a reasonable forecast for this week as well

Still working through my video footage of Lake George, on this day Feb 25th the wind was gusting to 35 knots so I left the drone on the shelf and took a bit of 4k video from the beach. Fastest speed for the day was 47 knots by Spotty which is absolutely smoking !

Great vids, would love to go back. So what's predictions for next summer? What sort of winter is needed to top up the lake to optimal levels?

This video is of a session is at Cockies, just a nice day of moderate winds, not too full on, heaven to sail in the flat water and beautiful to watch. Very enjoyable to film and hang out with all the crew ! Turn the sound up sound track is very chilled.

** I've noted the sailors in the video description that I could identify and also in my other Lake George videos, if you want me to add you in send me a PM with the time stamp.

Great video and nice to be on the front page , really good angle to show the speed , pb days all round for a lot of sailors , cant wait to get back next year for more action i personally learnt so much and being there for a long period was the changing factor plus the wind delivered this year

I'd like to see it filled and then opened to the sea to clean it up so you can see how shallow it is. It was very murky ( and pongy) this year.
