Major update today. Had to make 4 changes to the table. 3 sailors creeping up the rankings and a new entry by Bill, who must be the youngest in the club by several decades.
The green background of the Ranking indicates that the Files are available on KA72 or have been provided to me.
The Error figure is the average SDOP over the number of samples in the 2 sec period from RealSpeed
Full credit to MT for not only smashing the NSW record yesterday but to (1) do it in insane choppy / gusty conditions and (2) riding a board that he both designed and built himself. We are not worthy!!
Kato added! Too many folk from south of the border getting on this list!
Just three years ago there where only 13 people on this list, now we have 30.
In the recent months there has been a fair bit of action in the 40 Kt club of NSW.
Back in Oct both Greg K and Tim S both pushed their PBs slightly higher at their home speed spots. Greg becomes the first person to post a PB in the table with a "Motion" gps, it recorded an impressive error of only 0.146.
Eric Smith, has been increasing his PB faster than I can update this table and has now become the fastest from a non NSW team.
However Eric does live in NSW so I guess Kato is still the fastest real tourist.
It's time to welcome NickO to the club, after a great day at Budgie this week.
Notes on the table.
1. The table shows the best 2 secs speeds posted on GPSTC, with Doppler approved devices
2. The changes since the last post are highlighted in yellow.
3. The File column indicates that either the file is on KA72 or has been privately sent to me.
4. I check all the files in Realspeed, KA72 and GPSResults. (For the Motion I use KA72, GPSResults and GPSspeedreader) I compare all the different error data provided by these programs but only publish the "+/-" error from GPSResults.
I must have been away on holidays and missed this one.
A huge congrats to Jetlag who has shot up the table to the lofty heights of the crazy folk who have gone over 43.
