A cracking start!
Thanks to Huey for providing a memorable playing surface.
Good to see the Victorians well represented on the first day of play!

Yes I must say that it was very good of the Victorian Government to give us a holdiay to enable the Vic GPS teams to get the innings off to a cracking start. Well done to all the Aussies for putting the scores on the board and lets make sure we keep the Poms chasing our tail

The Manbra Mob are still in the clubhouse with the air conditioning on sinking a few beers waiting for the breeze to kinda blow a wee bit

One thing I am looking forward to this month is that I think with Elmo and Drift we will get some great sledging going

You guys get a clubhouse, I wanna see that When can we visit then?
You mob was probably just under the big tree to the left of the boat ramp with the regulation stubbies in a hessian bag dangling in the water, to keep a chill on em
Oh and there is zero wind over here in FNQ at Yorkeys as well.

Have you guys in your nice warm sunny southern hemisphere seen the cold front that has just moved over the UK? I have a feeling that the Ashes are over for us for the month, I will be trying to get out (Spencer - Portland Pirates) but the wind chill will be about -10 this weekend, very cold north/north east winds have just brought snowstorms and ice over from northern europe- and the news tells us it will get worse.

Red,
Sorry to hear that you've been siddled, oops I mean skittled by the weather in the mother land.

Yeessssss...it looks like some upstarts have commenced another Ashes Series over here.

The Windsurfing Ashes Series has been running for 4 months now with the 4th test close to completion - & very close it is too, with the Poms leading the series 2-1.

We are so sad to hear of the approaching cold front [}:)] - it's 25-30 deg here with water at 22 deg.

Game on.

No sorry hadn't noticed that Spencer, but think you guys are unbelievable going out in such cold weather. I lived in the UK for 2 years and windsurfed the south coast at Shorehman by Sea. I only ever went out in summer and that was cold enough. Now don't want to go out if the temp is below 21 c which doesn't happen much in QLD.
