Thanks Peter for all you hard work and effort in running the comp. Sterling job

Would it be possible to keep a parallel score going if for example the comp was Aus vs the UK on a monthly basis. ie. all Oz teams competing not just the selected 5 each month. We may discover that the scores become somewhat more even .... food for thought for next years.. Anglo-Oz Cup

Hate to be a horses ass, but I have to repeat that putting Burrum Heads up in September, was like putting a fast bowler in on a soggy wicket.
I'm not ragging on the Burrum Mob, just noting that it really is not their season, though I had hopes they would put in a last minute effort yesterday in the unseasonal southerly buster to shut me up.

Thats a bit of a sharp delivery Ducati, a Jeff Thomson nuking bouncer, [}:)]

Ken has a valid point. In fairness to Peter tho, he had to stick his neck on the line with the Oz team selections, not any easy task inall honesty.

I am keen to see how the month by month scores pan out if all the Oz gtc teams were able to play not just the chosen 5.

At the end of the day when the Uk gets hit by wind, most if not all teams can get out to play. Not the case with the Massive Oz..... just my 2cents worth.

Reading the paper today, the boffins are forecasting an early start to the cyclone season, possibly October, but probably November, with an above average number of cyclones.
Regardless of whether clonics form the same conditions favour strong Coral Sea lows, which are even better for wind, especially if you get a high down south at the same time.
It's all about La Nina !!
OTOH, you guys are forecast to have the North Atlantic oscillation go into the cool phase, with bumper snow seasons, so you may get good wind from that, I dunno, but it might also be hellishly cold.
