I really like the TC site and since over time you get to know a number of others using it splitting people off to a seperate foilers page would be somewhat.....umm antisocial, maybe. Im posting foil sessions into the TC but my numbers arent anywhere near slapper speeds so will never conflict with the challenge. Could it be a simple check box you select to indicate it was a foil session so PBs arent affected? Im writing foil session on any of my own posts so its clear for me, or is that not cool with the TC organisers?.

Good idea. Could have a foil indication check box and then have separate Foil PBs for reference.

At the moment I think that's the best way to go, unless a separate foiling team is set up. The problem with one person having 2 identities in the same team, is that one person can make a team score all by themselves.

A foiling group on KA72 offers a place we could go to check out others track logs around Australia on any given day at a click of the keyboard
I am not caught up with who went the fastest etc
Other fields of information are just there for personal goals and interest
I am not after a group with bragging rights, we can leave that to the speed sailors
Also KA72 allows for a lot more device options so that makes it much easier to contribute as well

See Seanhogan, nothing wrong with me joining the New cal Windfoilers group

A dedicated windfoil team is an interesting concept Mike. It would be interesting to see how they go. Whilst they might not get the 2S peaks, they might give a few teams a run for their money over all categories over the whole year.

Anytime, Tony. I hope the New Cal crew don't mind us hooking up with them?

Well guys, it might come as a surprise but actually we do, now our group page looks like a bloody worldwide comp.

I created this group for new cal locals to compare our sessions from our spots, you could've at least asked first !
Nothing to do with bragging rights or results, but having to scroll through sessions from Oz when I'm looking for mine (at the bottom) is annoying.
You're welcome to post if you come over and sail here though.

I hope this doesn't come out as rude (remember english is my second langage)

I'll see with Dylan if I can set up a "worldwide" group for wind foilers, please give me feedback of the categories you'd like to see up there. (compared to what's already in it)

cheers

No worries, did you have a look at the categories ? Do they seem ok/representative to you ?

* 2s vmax
* distance
* alpha 500
* 500m avg speed

I have moved over to the Windfoiling WW group. Thanks for setting this up.
I would personally like to see the 1 hour and Nautical Mile categories as well.

I can have the "latest sessions" removed to make place to one of the two maybe the NM, 1 hour isn't always relevant me thinks
ka72 only allows 5 categories

gold !

Hi berowne, the pending message doesn't matter,(I don't have to approve anyone, it's automatic) I saw your previous sessions appear in june, you should be able to post anytime, remember scores are only there for a month !
Give it a try with a july session and please let me know !

cheers

We only post in the group reserved for those who are French-Australians called Julien, living in Brisbane and sailing on Severne/Starboard gear.
