This last few weeks for Windsurfing have been epic...haven't looked at the winter games once. First (at least for me) was Woody's crazy fast, consistent and steadily improving Alphas, then Peter's (oversize Bogans) mega distance, then again Woody mega distance and Peters epic Alpha (not to mention many mortals getting countless PB's in the last few weeks) and now Kato smashing it out of the park. Deep respect to you guys. Pretty inspiring for an old rookie.

Simply amazing Craig and well done. Not only the distance but also an hour and alpha PB while doing the distance. Much respect.

To put it into perspective: 5 Mile -> Canberra is ~850km. He sailed to Canberra. Amazing !

Yes, but Kato's had to do a Gybe every 3km or so. So about 290 gybes? Probably a good thing as sailing on one tack for hundreds of km would be body destroying - ahhh, make that MORE body destroying.
