I hope you have a good 4WD vehicle for that trailer Mark. You'll need it to get up and down the access road. It looks light enough though.
I'll see you there in the morning and we'll find you a good spot down there. We've had small trucks and trailers down there before, so I'm sure you'll be OK.
Gabe.

Wow A really big thanks to stormriders it was fun. It made me look at going for naughts etc. which i have not really tried to do before and I did a 33 knot naughty PB. I think its great it encourages fun competition.
Congratulations to every person who had a go. I mean look at the top 10 placing names for the men and women it's the who's who of windsurfing.
It is a pleasure to sail with the guys at Cantong you are always so happy and inviting. Thanks for the kind words I am more than happy to help people.
Milsy Gregs correct come to the sand island in a NE.

Hi all and very big congrates to Byron & Chris, nice work the both of you!

I will find out the details of the windsurfing awards night which was spoken about at the beginning of the season and we'll post the details ASAP. Storm Riders will award the trophy to the winders on that night if we can get the party off the ground, otherwise keep checking your mail boxes over the coming weeks!

We'll do it all again next year as the response and feed back has been great. Thanks all whole participated and let us know if anything more can be done to make it better for Dec/Jan 2013/14?

i think it was a great concept, personally, a good competition is one in which all abilitys are competitive, i think an, a, b, c, grade, or maybe a winner for best sesh at a particular location, its nearly impossible to beat the top 10 guys if they sail well for themself, so that still leaves about 50 sailors wondering why should they bother to compete, then of course location plays a big role, goodluck sailing at narra lakes thinking you can beat an overall sess at bot or up the coast, i would love to c the chance for others to compete with a fair chance, eg what about the more hobbie guy, he hasnt got the skills yet to beat bryon, not even close, maybe a class for sailors who are still working towards thirty, and another for those that regulary break it, ha, whatever, thanks heaps Adam, i always enjoy these sorta things, c ya soon..........third best sailor in the world, oops, i mean, third best sailor for summer cup, out!

Some interesting ideas there Milsy, I like the pre and post 30 knot one in particular,..perhaps because I fall into that one(the pre that is)!
Let's chat next time we hook up.
Oh and big congrates on the 3rd place. I'd give you one of my old Olympic Bronze medals, but I've lost em' at the bottom of my trophy cabinet some where!

No Rick, these fine looking trophies were kindly donated by Chris & Gabe from the now defunct 'Pacific Palms Windsurfing School' at Wallis Lake.(Chris won the womens' devision BTW, not sure if she wants the trophy back? But the old plaque is still attached for remembrance sack)
The updated Storm-Riders revisions,.......well they were masterfully re-crafted at school!
