I've got a GoPro hero1 that I want to give away, Conditions do apply.....
If there's any windsurfing youngsters (under 18) out there that have a passion for making windsurfing films it's all yours, You old buggers can by your own GoPro. It comes with the housing but no mounts, You'll need to get them yourself....Pickup from Gerroa or lake illawarra on a good westerly.
Cheers.
I've an X9 boom that requires a re-grip, Once again must go to a junior in the sport...
It's more then useable, Some tape would have it up any going in a few seconds but with a re-grip it would be sweet.
Pickup at Gerroa.
I'm not trying to tell you guys what to do with your stuff, but an X9 is probably lost on a beginner. Especially when they are light-weights (i.e. kids).
Maybe you could sell it and buy 3 new alu booms? Then again, I am not sure what you would get for it second hand. It just seems sort of funny to think a kid has a $1000 boom when a $200 one would do them just as well.
^^^What is your point??? I want it to got to someone younger who's growing into the sport rather then someone wanting to get a free bit of reasonable quality gear. It's not going to suit a 10 year old but I'm sure we've got some under 18's that can use it. I can rig a 4.5 on it so it would suit a teenager very well.
^^^Agree FN,it would be too big and heavy for the kids around here <13. It would be better suited to a 15+ year old.

My point is, that you might be able to get some more value out of it by selling it and getting a few aluminium booms for the kids. Again, its not my decision to make, I'm just offering another point of view.
At that stage (I can't say age) I would have not known a carbon boom from an aluminium one, and for me it wouldn't have made any difference.
Hey, its your gear, and its good that you are donating it to someone that needs it regardless.
There were 2 kids who came down to Sanctuary point for the summer, Liam and Cory. Liam age 7 is the keenest ,most persistent kid I have ever seen, windsurfed till his hands bled ! Cory, his brother was about 14 last summer ,it would be great for him in the coming year. It would be great to help this lovely family out. I have got boards (thanks FN and others)unis, fins. Just need a mast, probably 370 and a 4m(should be easy enough to find) to make up a complete setup for him.
Hi Akim, Ive got a 400 mast and 5m sail with good life in them if that would get the kids up and away, will bring it down to sanctuary next southerly
I've got an 08/09?? NeilPryde 5.4 Atlas wave sail for any junior that wants it (under 18). It's in super condition except for a broken batten (which I will supply), I'm just too lazy to fix it.
Pickup from Gerroa or I can take to Lake Illawarra on a good westerly.
Cheers.
Hi jh I know that young reg would love to own that Atlas right after destroying his 5.5 raf cam. As he has autism he probably won't show much emotional response but you'd have a friend for life. If you still have it can you bring it to primbee on the next westerly and gift it to him yourself it would be a good experience for him too.
^^^Yeah, No problem. He's sailing real well out there and I know he'll put the sail to good use. I mis-typed, It's actually the older Alpha but the same sail none the less. I'm sure it rigs on and SDM but it would be better with an RDM.
Any ways it's his.
Free to good home. 70 litre Starboard Acid. Got it given to me, ain't used it, probably never will, so anyone looking for a small wave board in half decent nick, it's yours. Has some repaired dings on the bottom rail, but totally water proof and still nice and light. Pick up only in beautiful South West Rocks, NSW.
Still got this Starboard Acid if anyone wants it. Got a F/O bag with it too, though the zipper is shot.
Also got 320 Mistral HiFly with centre board and fin. All watertight and would be pretty good for learners ,or even just cruising around on the light days.

Hey Phil, I am sure that the Queens Lake Sailing Club would take that HiFly off your hands. Heaps of groms there wanting to learn and the board sounds perfect for that. Are you ok if I get Tom to call you about this? MAybe bring it down on the weekend?
Good thinking Adam. I'll take it down to them on Saturday arvo.
That still leaves the 70 litre Acid if anyone is after a small wave board. Would be perfect for a young kid keen on hitting the suds.

Hi Phil
My son would love to have the board if you still have it!
Thanks
Matt
All yours Matt. Next time I head to Toukley I'll bring it down. If one of the northern crew head your way before me, I'll sneak it in their car
Well matt it seems that the old adage of what goes around comes around is at work here. The 8.3m sail rigs well on my old gear and is much appreciated and will get some more use Yet. If you ever come down to the gong let me know andWe'll sail lake illawarra

Would suit somebody making board racks .
Yes it's not windsurfing gear but someone out there might be into MTB or MotoX, All brand new with tags still attached. Fox brand and size large. Pick up from Gerringong/Gerroa.
