Hi camm
What time this coming weekend 13/2
Cheers Jeff
We are going to start at 9.00am, the tide will be low but will get better as the morning progresses, I think the shallow water will assist the kids as it will keep the chop small in the strong winds.
Hi Cam, any idea on timing tomorrow? I've got another family coming down with me and need to let them know the start time as early as possible.
Thanks mate.
Bewdy, thanks Cam.
Great photos iCarbon too! Great to see the kids enjoying themselves. The program is a credit to all involved!

but they came anyway, it was windy and we had the rescue boat keeping an eye on things but everyone got back to shore under there own steam, some got planing and some got catapulted but everyone will have improved a bit and everyone had fun.
Sure did, even little Jessica got some runs in but it did get the better of her after an hour or so. Still big smiles all round and keen for next week.
High tide on Saturday morning 5 March is early at 7:00 o'clock.
Please aim to arrive at 8:45am for a 9:00am start to Learn to Windsurf Program.
By 11:00am, the water level on the sand flats will be getting too low to sail close to the beach.
Is it OK for adults to join in, is is this course for children only?
Yeah no problem, go to reception and ask for a daily membership pass to attend the learn to windsurf, they will charge you about $15.00 and give you a pin number to get in through the gate, then head up to the beach end of the club.
Address of the Club is below
Royal Qld Yacht Squadron
578 Royal Esplanade, Manly QLD 4179
Hi looking to bring my daughters along next week. What time do you expect to start on Saturday morning. Is there anything specific that I need to bring?
Tides are good this weekend for the Learn to Windsurf Program.
Start time for Saturday 12 March will be 9:00 AM.
Bugs74 - please bring footwear, sunscreen and hats for your daughters.
Cheers
You Qld guys certainly have a good scene going with beginners - intermediates! Looks like a great social scene.
9.00am start for tomorrow 19/3/16
Hi Cam, Are you running over the Easter holidays and is there any plans to run anything mid week for kids on school holidays?
There's no session planned for this Easter weekend, I don't know of any plans to run sessions mid week over the school holidays, but Max may be interested to do something if there is demand I will send him a message and ask.
No worries...would be good if Max could look at putting something together similar to the Tackers program for windsurfing on school holidays. Have a great Easter!
Hi Cameron,
My son recently completed the MBBC learn to surf and is keen to come to the Saturday sessions. Are you running it this Saturday (2/3) ?
Regards
Ian

Hi Ian
Yes its on this weekend from 9.00am the tide is running out so by lunch there will be no water. I won't be there this week but Dave will be, he may be a bit shorthanded as Max is overseas with his Olympic coaching obligations.
Dear starters for tomorrows LTW session. I'll be there from 8.00am - so come along for an early start, if you can, and beat the outgoing tide!
Looks like light winds. The focus of the session will be Downwind sailing.
David
Saturday windsurfing at RQYS is scheduled for 9am this Saturday April 9th. Winds will be light, see you down there
Hi Dave
My Son is looking to attend, he is a complete beginner to sailboarding but skippers in the schools pacer racing on Sundays at RQ so has an understanding of winds.
Can you please advise on how long the session is tomorrow?
Thanks Roy
